Coming from a family of veterans and being one myself, seeing these flyovers always brings a tear to my eyes and full body chills. And I love that the C-17 Globemaster just goes over slowly, giving everyone time to appreciate just how massive a plane it is. My old base had C-17s, KC-135s and C-141s and you could hear them all the time from the base medical center where I worked. That's probably the only thing I miss about my time in the Air Force. But I can always hit up an air show to relive the old times
More firepower contained in those three planes, than unleashed in all the wars, in the history of the world, combined. I'm glad there ours. But I hope there never used to there potential. The B-52 alone could wipe out almost any country on the planet.
I was a teenager in the late 60's and lived at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The B52 was the workhorse during that time and on many occasions got to see that bird land and take off. It will make the hair stand up on your neck and arms when that big boy flew toward and over you. It looked like a huge bird of prey. I have seen the stealth bomber and it evokes the same feeling.
Pilot, "Sir we have the target in sight, do we have permission to engage", flight commander, "calm down son and pull yourself together, it's only a fly over."

dude there is nothing cooler than a stealth bomber flying over a super bowl final. its USA in a nutshell and I fucking love it. over here in germany we have nothing close to that.
It's so hard to believe anyone could kneel to our national anthem. I have chills watching these flyovers while listening to our anthem. So proud to be an American 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙🇺🇸

Just so you know the US Army Air force did a fly over on the San Carlos Apache reservation in Honor of the Veterans three times in the past when I was a kid. N they blew red white n blue color from their jets . N an Apache elder sang the American Anthem in our Apache language. we get the same as you all do on Native Land ..my late grandfather was the most decorated Marine, Army , Navy Seal with purple hearts ... He's the only native who has been to three terms in different services.

These aren't all Super Bowl flyovers (the third is an outdoor NHL game), although if it' sjust called "super (stadium) bowl flyovers", it's a good title.
I wouldn’t say lots. Yes it’s happened. After a flyover where I live, I think it was the Bristol race they flew over. Anyway one of the guys crashed his jet on the way back to the base. He hit some power lines going over a river. He passed so they didn’t run his name in the mud, bud did say he was flying recklessly and should never have been low enough to hit the power lines.
As a retired pilot except for last flyover they were kinda underwhelming. They all were to high and should have been a lot lower and I’m sure the pilots wanted to be lower but outside forces such as the FAA, and other governmental organizations would not allow that to happen. Damn
Huh, I thought it was Congress that controlled the budget and it was Congress that shut down the government during budget disputes. And yeah, flyovers at football games are so much more important than actual training missions for preparedness…
I was there and the video really doesn’t do it justice. It was much louder and I felt that hard thumping thru my body as they flew over. Amazing ! Would be #1 flyover on my list if not for the flyover at Ronald Reagan’s funeral I attended in Washington DC… I don’t think they’ll ever be a flyover that can top that one.
@@youngkids9793 I knew they were a group, forgot where they were based out of. Have seen them perform a few times and its always a blast watching them.
#3 and 5 weren't Super Bowls. 3 was the 2010 Winter Classic (hockey game; you can see the ice rink in the center of the field) and the 49 bird flyover was a regular season game at Arrow Head in October of 2013.
I watched this.. and all I can think is, what happened to THIS country I served? Where are all those people that say they are patriots yet now, are not standing tall, demanding politicians stop playing games and start doing their jobs and adhering to the US Constitution? Things need to change or flyovers like this won't be anymore.
The Tampa bay one from the intro was the most badass due to the B2, B52 and B1 bombers adding up to 55 for SB55 in Tampa hosting the first home SB in a city known for its bomber base. Always will remember that one
