My neighbor was getting rid of their teenager’s toys and they gave me a free working Rapidstrike with 3 drum mags, a free Rival XV-700, and a free Nerf Vortex Pyragon with this big ole drum mag. They are all spotless. I had actually never seen the Pyragon before, it shoots disks of all things. It’s pretty neat.
that’s awesome! a few years ago, my neighbor was going away to college and gave me a bunch of his old dart tag blasters in great condition, including a quick-16, micro blaster, strikefire, hyperfire, and swarmfire. They’re really cool blasters and I’m very thankful for them.
I now have three Rapidstrikes and I’m completely okay with it. Lol My wife and I battle it out from time to time. I can’t wait until my twin boys get old enough to go to war with me.
Just so you know, the max stryker is currrently on sale at the exact same price as the nexus pro so it is a great time to choose either one you want without price being a factor! also have much love for the magnumx2. I started my channel with that blaster and a black friday sale on them last year is what propelled me into the hobby. Bought 10 of em for my whole family at that time and for $100 plus a couple boxes of ammo our family had a new tradition.
Coming to the foam blaster hobby from the actual firearm hobby can be interesting. "A hundred dollars is a ton of money!" The stock on one of my AR-15s is over a hundred dollars. This stuff is so cheap, which is why I find it so much fun.
It's kind of amazing when you discover that one of your favorite RU-vidrs for one hobby (your videos really helped me get started keeping tarantulas!) is into your other big hobby! I just gotta ask... what's your favorite blaster, Clint? ^_^
Great little list! My only critique is that last I checked the Adventure Force Liberator only hits around 70 to 80 FPS out of the box, and at $25 the Aeon Pro definitely deserves consideration for budget conscious foam flingers =)
A hint to people looking for a Nexus Pro, check your walmarts. I had my eye on one for a long time and noticed my local one started clearancing blasters but not the Nexus. I kept my eye out snd kept price checking and finally found it on the regular shelves for $27
I think then he'd have to deal with people who can't get Buzzbee or people who don't get a specific nerf blaster. I think it'd be hard to please everyone. Plus DZ is becoming available in several other countries.
I would definitely recommend regularly monitoring sites like Amazon, Walmart, and Target if your on a budget. They have random deals (Target tends to change $ on Sundays). You can even add all the blasters you're interested in to your Cart or Save For Later area and check daily for $ changes. Walmart recently had the Nerf Rival Perses for $40. Amazon currently has the Dart Zone Pro-Series MK-2 for $54.99. I was able to get a Dart Zone Max Tomcat from Target for only $7.49 the other day. 🤯
As someone with a Dictator, it is amazingly comfortable to use, and the main grip is one of the most comfortable I have ever felt. Add a scar, and it's competative almost anywhere (I'm designing one to also make it resemble a double-barrel tech shotgun) :D
@@jerfsjourneys Guess it was a full franchise sale. I purposefully do not go after full length dart guns. By limiting my ammo, I limit the number of guns I can buy. My wallet appreciates it
I Hadn't played with nerf guns in like a decade, but then my sister grabbed me an Nerf Ultra 5 last Chirstmas on sale for like $15. After that I fell into the rabbit hole of dart blasters and came to realize that most people don't care to much for the ultra series lol, Then I got me a Nexus pro and then the Aeon Pro and then recently bought a Nightingale for my first flyweight. ANYWAYS I have been hooked on your videos since I got my ultra 5 for christmas last year thanks.
It’s an interesting site. I’ve bought several blasters and accessories from there. Mixed bag of great deals, ok deals and not so good deals. I like that the level 4 blasters for parts are getting new life.
@@flyingchicken40 The not so good deals may be mostly a function of Walmart and Amazon providing price updates so frequently as well as they often have free shipping or store pick up. Again, some great deals I've purchased from Blaster Barn so I'm not throwing shade. For example your NIB Rough Cut at $17, that's been available for $6 at Walmart recently and under $10 at Amazon. The Flip Fury at $15, this blaster has been below $10 at Amazon for most of the last 3 months. The Desolator at $30 is an ok deal but I've purchased it recently at Amazon for $21 with free shipping. The Peres at $60 was a solid deal until Amazon ran both the blue and red at $50. Hope this input was helpful. Thank you.
The dart zone tomahawk and the adventure force matrix fire are also very good blaster options for fairly low prices, the tomahawk offers similar ability to the villainator but with 60 rounds and as a semi automatic flywheeler. The matrix fire is only about $35 and is probably the cheapest full auto flywheeler that's actively on shelves, also holds 40 rounds in a hopper firing full length darts with good performance, it also has some 3d printable parts to convert it to magazines without any modifications at all
While this was about primary class, its good to mention the best budget secondary, the Dart Zone Storm Squad is a 5 dollar 4 shot revolver powerhouse. Accurate too
The Walmart I work at was getting rid of the nexus pros they had on the shelf to make room for the dues pros and stuff so they put all the conquest pros and nexus pros on sale. I got twi conquest pros and two Nexis pros all for $19 a piece for Christmas gifts.
I think you should have include the Nerf Trailblazer. While its hitting standard fps, its got 8 rounds and is fun to play with. May not be a primary by any means, but as a sidearm at $15, I totally think its worth it
I got a Dictator for $35 2 months ago and it was still worth it. I also just recently picked up BOTH the X-Shot Respawn and Ragequit for $20 on sale at Target.
Speaking from experience, do not get a moddable blaster like a longshot or retaliator expecting it to be a budget option. By the time you get it to 200 fps, you've likely spent more effort and money (on aftermarket parts) than buying and assembling a kit for a community design.
The best thing I ever thrifted was an in-box Hakvokfire. I picked it up for $25, and sold it for $950. No idea what it was doing there, since I don't think it was sold here in the U.S, but it was there, and I made a big profit on it.
Dart Zone Blitzfire X2 for $10 at Target Nerf 2.0 Commander $8 at Walmart Nerf Fortnite SMG $15 at Walmart Above worth mentioning. I’ve seen the Camo Roughcut 2x4 in stores for like $6 recently too.
The Fate is still less than 8 dollars at Target, Walmart, and Amazon. It’s better than the Knockout and with an in-line barrel kit and upgraded Spring from OoD’s it’s a really inexpensive upgradable blaster that has a cool form factor and can be easily changed between halfdarts and rival.
It should be noted that regular nexus pro is out of stock at most Walmarts. They were clearancing them off for a while now, so they aren't really much of an option anymore
Went to target to grab the xshot long shot but saw the dictator at $25. Had to go for the dictator. Also, it’s on clearance now at my target so you may want to snatch it up if you haven’t
Just FYI, Amazon has a bunch of new paint scheme Hammerstrikes for under 20$ at the moment. I even caught it at a good time and got mine for under 15. Wouldn't make this list, but not bad for the best secondary Hasbro has ever made.
I went with the spectrum for my flywheelrrrr and Stryker for my springer 🙂 very happy with DZ and with the spectrums value set on Amazon the blaster is so inexpensive!
Number 5: got it. Removed the trigger lock. Number 4: got it. Number 3: Had one of the older versions that looked like Robocop's pistol. Number 2: got it. Number 1: Had one. Prefer the Max Stryker.
I'd like to give a shoutout to the tomcat, yes its nornally $70. But the sale rn at target has it for $40. I'm not into nerf as much as i used to be, but I had to get the tomcat for that price
Oh my god! I just went to blaster barn and I swear I just went to nerf heaven 😱 I’m Australian so it’s really hard to get the blasters I want but most are on your site. I’m gonna be back on in a couple of weeks when I got some money again 😅
this kind of annoys me... we don't have targets in canada so how are we supposed to get a dictator?we can't so it feels kind of annoying to be shown a nice looking blaster and say it's a good price but we can't get it but I totally understand it was good for this list and I'm sure looking for cheap but still good blasters wouldn't have been easy but it still annoys me
hey bud. take some weight off your shoulders. youre clearly leading almost the entire community with just being you. i personally dont think you need to explain yourself so much and just have fun. i dont mean to make any assumptions or insults in any way. youre incredibly talented and smart.
p.s.s. i just left my job in aviation 4 days ago as a temporary retirement. recruit me to scavange goodwills for the rest of my life to add to blaster barns inventory. xD
Our prices are usually pretty reasonable. They're based on average to lower-than-average resale value. You can certainly find stuff cheaper if you look patiently and hard enough, but you won't find a service nearly as consistent. Honestly the worst part is always shipping costs, which is unfortunately out of our control.
