It's honestly more op than some of the past exploits that existed. You can just get more power and expand it as much as you want to for a pretty cheap cost.
If you want to save backpack space while collecting bytes within these crates on Glacio, Rogal - the Novus galastropod puts out 6U/s when fed with its fav. seed. Gotta include a small platform too... to mount it for delivering its power to these crates. I'm pretty sure the snails missions are kinda early game, right? Subbed 👍🏼 Also, why the hell are you so underrated tho? Your content is 🔥
You can also set up an automatic Explosive Powder factory on Calidor and research that. Carbon can be automated now thanks to tappers, and Sulfur comes from the Atmospheric Condenser
on number 3 you also should have mentioned that you can package up the research items for them to grt their bytes back (also i am doing hardcore and this helped with my bytes alot)
It isn't automatible, but I like to farm popcoral in early game for the research items that grow underneath the popcoral. Spawns them pretty frequently and gives items worth 220, 540, or 1015 bytes. The items research quickly and the spare seeds give 95. Worth tending to early on, though not so much once you researched most of the tree.
In my opinion I would use the glacio eco dynamics aid for the beginning but once I get the large shuttle I will probably do the fractal rosé strategy because when I have an auto extractor up I will probably wait and go do some other stuff and then come back with a lot of resources and bytes. But I have never used one of these so I am not qualified to talk.
That's not a bad plan. The fractal rose actually has great potential if you set it up properly, as you can just add more and more seeds to get more bytes from it. It can end up giving you a ton.
@@dodge2206 I don't remember why I said I would be done with it so soon, but I was dead wrong. I'm still working on it, and I'm nearly done. It apparently proved to be much more difficult than I thought when I replied to this.
I read on reddit that research samples spawn at different times (longer time for higher value) and (faster resspawn times at lower value). If this is true, then no matter where you set up an automation farm you would get the same amount of bytes per hour.Is this true?
I don't think they're different. If they are, I'm almost certain that it's not proportional anyways. It seems to be a similar wait time on Sylva and Glacio even though Glacio's are 6x as valuable, and I'm nearly certain that Glacio's don't take 6x as long to respawn if they take longer at all.
On the last option with gas I put in a ridiculous amount of power at 45 u of power and it still does not fully power everything, I think it’s a bug bc I’ve done the math
I’m actually not sure. It’s probably not worth it though because you get so many already just from the first Glacio cave layer. Glacio is the most research-oriented planet in Astroneer, though. I would say it has the best stuff in almost all cases.
At first, I would run 8 stacks of tethers through the caves, manually collecting all the samples I pass. Then I would go back through and place the auto research configurations on all that respawned when I see they’ve come back.
I was able to achieve the EXO Dynamics Solar System Mastery in 6 days of getting the game. I am aware that some others have achieved it more quickly than I did.
