Hi, nice video but you messed up what spot metering is. Spot metering reads from a very small part of the centre of the screen to let you meter precisely off a particular part of the image. E.g. If shooting a backlit person you can select spot metering to meter off the person and the metering will totally ignore the brighter background. Using a different metering mode - the backlighting will affect metering and underexpose your subject. Spot metering most definitely does not take an average of the whole picture, it is the exact opposite. In Auto camera mode you can also long-press an area of the screen to achieve both exposure lock and focus lock. I don't think it's as precise as spot metering, but allows you to meter from off-centre subjects.
I can't acces the exposure thing on camera app... all of my apps are up to date , and it doesnt seem that turning off any setting unlocks it. Cant find anything on web also.. any ideas?
