As far as replacement characters are concerned, Cam replacing Jack was one of the best moves in television and the first time I've seen it work as it was happening and not in reruns. It also seemed like he allowed the other characters to loosen up.
Yup, i really cannot find episodes that defines him. Makey surely had more stories to tell. Except that one time Mitchel pretended to be a cousin of a Lucian alliance leader and one chin alien cursed Mitchel before was burn to smytherines. He tortured Tealc just to keep his cover story and it worked. Sam got shot with an ori fork blast and Mitchel didnt lose it
