Sir you mentioned derma with cosmetology as high earning potential But cosmetology quackery is very common these days providing good clinics with good infrastructure Should this be a considering factor before selecting derma If someone doesn't have that heavy sum to invest for cosmetology

That is because of the very limited number of derma seats compared to other top branches like medicine / paeds/ ortho/obgy . Almost 3:15 ratio.

No patient recognition. I don’t know why people say this thing about anaesthesia only. Look at radiology .. they don’t have even that much interaction with patient and hence recognition.. still radio picked up on top

Pharmacology is not at all top paraclinical . Plz remove it. Myself is doing DM in clinical pharmacology from a top institution of India. It is kind if shear waste of time. Potential also belongs in branch at least in India. Gobind Garg is an outlier performer. And having a Lamborghini or porshe or marcedes does not mean it is an icon of success. All these r tangible assets which are basically depreciated asset like marriage. Ratan Tata or Aziz Premzi or Devi Shetty 12:54 dont ride on expensive cars but they r successful because they hv made intangible assests which help them to make more wealth. And to enter in Pharma industry doing MBA just after MBBS is more than enough. U dnt hv to waste 3 yrs of ur precious life by doing MD in Pharma to enter in industry. At present lots of BDS graduates r entering in pharma industry due to lack of jobs in their respective domain. Another thing I want to mention if anyone wants to join in industry join earliest. Industry usually reluctant to take a little aged person unlike core medical sector.

@akaluc9573
@akaluc9573 День назад
@@dramalkb6736 pediatrics is very much saturated ! You go and ask some girl that what's her favourite branch, more often their reply will be pediatrics 😊. While you study you will be dealing with every case, but in clinics it's more of infection and allergy etc. so basically it will be a half cooked medicine ! You will be studying too much in PG but u wouldn't be facing those things in clinic Unless u work in a corporate hospital. So I will always suggest people to take General medicine as it is having very large scope in any settings whether it's clinic or hospital. Pediatrics doesn't have much SS branches so it's highly competitive, contrary to General medicine which is having lot of options in super specialisation. There are lot of pediatricians trying for adult ss comparing to pediatrics ss, as chance of success is High with adult ss

Pulmonology department are getting merged in General medicine in many medical colleges as NMC has removed respiratory medicine from ug curriculum. No new medical college has vacancy for md pulmonary medicine. Even AIIMS is not accepting md pulmonary medicine candidate as faculty. They only want DM pulmonary medicine people. Indian chest society has filed a case in high court in Nagpur regards this. Be wary of taking pulmonary branch as opportunities are getting lesser and lesser in medical colleges.NMC may phase out MD respiratory medicine in near future.

Sir, what is your opinion about psychiatry?
@akaluc9573
@akaluc9573 6 дней назад
According to me psychiatry is a wonderful branch, which needs Drs with empathy and patience. There is public stigma about this branch nonetheless if you are curious about the mind and its intricacies you may like it. There is going to be high demand of psychiatrist in future as everyone gets aware of mental illness. It's more or less like General medicine, a classical branch.

@@akaluc9573 rightly said, thanks a lot! I’m personally very passionate about psych as a branch.
@akaluc9573
@akaluc9573 6 дней назад
@@JayatiPathak According to me if you are passionate about the psychiatry you must pursue it bcz we need passionate psychiatrists / Drs. Majority of the medicos took this profession due to parental or peer pressure etc, so nobody is sure on what they are really passionate about. If somebody understand what they really want to pursue as career they must go for it, even if no-one supports your decision.Its my point of view 🙂. I think you should visit some psychiatrists clinic and work there for few days, so that you will get a reality check once agin. You might have liked it in internship, but check once again too.
