If any of these ideas were to be implemented I think the last one is necessary as the current tutorial doesn’t do a good job with guiding new players to actually keep playing. I also think think that the PU towers should be blocked completely until a certain difficulty is beaten which is already mentioned in the video. At the very least ToAST should be mandetory to complete before any other tower so that players know what they’re getting into.
Maybe also blocking world 2 till a difficulty threshold is passed since World 2 is home to harder and more modern towers than World 1. Or maybe till ToAST is beaten idk
And also the requirement to unlock PUT should be beating first difficult - challenging tower because needing to beat an specific tower would be irritating (or as they talk about one area then fine)
I really like the client object contest idea. It gives people an opportunity to showcase their scripting and creative abilities so they have a better chance of becoming a verified builder, which there aren't a lot of. I'm not too sure about the time progress bar though. The amount of time people take completing towers can vary massively and can't be represented by a timer. The concept is good, but I think it would be better if it told you what floor you were on because with some towers it can be hard figuring it out yourself.
i dont think the last one would take time to script you could just add a script that detects if a person has joined for the first time, which sends them to the tutorial for the toky part they can add a script that scans for the toky badge which will open the PU area
i agree with most of these but instead of making a new tutorial they should block off PU towers and CoLS till you beat a challening or a specific tower also client object contests are a cool idea but if they were to exist they should be hosted every 2 - 3 months since 1 - 2 weeks seems wayy too fast and it would be really hard for tower builders to keep up
No, that would make it pain since you can't do something called skip towers, which can actually be useful. For example, I skipped from ToH to SoHP before and it can help improve your skill. I would recommend an unlock at around ToH so you can explore more, and not get too angry with how hard the towers are.
I was worried because the thumbnail has absolutely awful ideas (especially jjt implementation) but I got mad when the ideas in the video were slightly kinda maybe bad at worst
I absolutely hate the maximum jump thing. It would change Roblox physics forever and be a pain for top obbyists already, since no one wants a maximum jump to be precise as that could ruin the list even further.
The tower progress idea shouldn't be too difficult to implement, as the towers do have anticheat checkpoints I'm guessing. Which means that these anticheat checkpoints can be used as markers to split up each floor/section of a tower
Alike any others in this comment section, blocking off the difficult towers until you beat blank amounts of blank difficult towers is a good idea but it may also create a false sense of ‘I need to beat every tower here before I can progress’ so what could happen is blocking off the others until ToAST is beaten and maybe, on a different note, Juke could add five optional floors to extend the tutorial for the more modern mechanics
