Living in Arizona ( I'm a 4th generation native). I've personally witnessed some flooding not from a dam collapse rather from late fall/ early winter rains in November and December rains of 1978 here in the Tempe/Phoenix area. This was waaay before all of the new freeways that exist today here in the Valley of the Sun also known to my fellow farming families as the Salt River Valley. Abnormal 200 year rains and record snow pack were recieved in that time frame and water releases from ROOSEVELT, Horseshoe, Apache and Stwart Mountain Dams resulted in nearly 300,000 cubic feet per second of water to ROAR down the Salt River. The only passable bridge left open to cross the Salt River was the famous Mill Avenue Bridge in North Tempe, Arizona. Interstate 10 was closed as well because the strength of the flow caused the Bridge to have a column shift and drop the Bridge 8 inches across a large section. Once the water releases subsided some 2 and half months later reconstruction could commence. The Dam on your video thats the most worrisome would be the 3 Gorges in China. If that ever goes... the innocent loss of life would be horrendous. I really like your channel. Great work! Love it ! Warmest Regards from Arizona
Hello, thank You so much for your sincere comment! It's terrible that you went through this. However, I am glad that all this is over! We also hope that there will be no more breakthroughs and people will not suffer, and for this it is necessary to develop infrastructure and spare money, which is not often the case these days. We hope you will enjoy our other videos☺️) and thank You again for your support, we appreciate it! ❤️❤️❤️
