@LordTrent Madolche is not only byfar the best xys deck, it is even a hard coulter to both purrely, and lab as well.. Madolche has the best shuffler+the best bouncer in the game. It also has a face up omni negate it can get 100% of the time, ever turn. Hell it even has monster effect protection, and a card advantage engine.
my exodia deck is pretty much unhit by this... uses the Utopia draw engine and only has a single link extender (thats basically just a win more in my deck). Gna make a lotttt of people very angry.
huh, well, they just announced pinpoint dash ban, with Ojama duo and trio and banquet of Millions, however, I will take it in consideration for other events. Another option if you don't have the gems is spider OTK, is not going to be the most consistent deck but it will not cost you too much resources, and you can use it in the beginning and then use another deck.
Horus with Majesty's Fiend and Black Garden (searchable via Rainbow Salvation Bridge). All currently legal as of posting this comment. 4 tokens on opponent's field, they can't special summon and anything they do summon will have it's attack halved. Enjoy.
Lyrilusc Snake Eyes is pretty much untouched in this event too, the only hit is Linkuriboh, can OTK easily and has access to one of the most one sided and disgusting traps ever with Feather Storm, that's my choice for this event but in case this turns into a stun fest I will play Pacifis.
Laziest event by far... No loaner decks, no hits for non xyz strategies, and floodgates are up? won't be surprised if the "C" incident repeats once more (That cousin of Maxx C who can be summoned on opponent side turn 1, & prevents Xyz summons) If Burn fails, may dust off Rikka-Tenyi for the rewards
What about Phantasm Spiral and Tru Draco? Even the Umi Control deck could prove useful if the opponent isn't also running a WATER-attribute themed deck.
Utopia the lighning? Galaxy eyes? As much as I like tower-like monsters, UF doesn't do much ... but I'll pray you face stuff like Zodiac or Exo who can't lay a finger on it
Welcome to the club... you can mix Lady lab there to set more burn if needed Beware of Galaxy otk thou, not sure if you can chain Gravedigger onto Afterflow during dmg calculation...
I have Xyz decks, but I don't blame one person for playing Burn or Stun. They really dropped the ball on this event, but then again, the first Xyz event was the self-tk fest so maybe they just enjoy taking the piss
With A Legendary Ocean on the field, it's more difficult to XYZ summon Kraken. Umi would definitely be better, but unfortunately Warrior of Atlantis only searches for A Legendary Ocean.
