Tarakasur son's vadh in Tripurasur was done by Pashupatastra mounted on Pinak dhanush. I extensively researched and none , absolutely none of the authentic scriptures mention Vijay Dhanush belonging to Shiv ji. It belonged to Indra dev and passed down to Parashuram ji, then Karn. I also had this misconception earlier.
