The Apsmile is a tad bit more expensive than other comforters mentioned in this video, but I think it is worth the price. This is probably the lightest and softest comforter there is. We are in SC where it doesnt terribly get cold, and we are using the Apsmile all year. Overall pretty good comforter for people who are living in warmer climates, I am really impressed with how lightweight this is.
I love how WhatsBedding provides you with two different options - Lightweight, and All-Season. We got the lightweight since we live in Miami and its working great! Actually really light, and its so fluffy! We normally get really hot when we sleep, but WhatsBedding keeps us cool! There are a lot of nice duvet covers as well for this, finding a cover that fit was not difficult at all, unlike some other duvets we had in the past.
The Hombys comforter first convinced us with its looks, it looks really, really high-end and sophisticated! What a gorgeous comforter this is! So glad all the other aspects lived up to its looks, its lightweight and really fluffy. The fabric is so soft to touch, we dont even want to leave the bed half the time we wake up! The Hombys does come with a premium price, but we think its definitely worth it!
I wasnt really sure of getting a comforter because we live in SoCal where it is warm all year round, from the pictures it looked like I would wake up every night sweating. But that was not the case with the Apsmile comforter, its really fluffy, soft and SO lightweight. We got the All-Season weight, so I cant really comment on how winter weight performs in the cold, but for warm and hot weather we had no issues whatsoever!
I wasnt looking for a really expensive option and I live in upstate NY so it gets fairly cold. I got the Linenspa and I am pretty happy with it. It gets really warm inside, which is great for the winter and autumn months. Other times, I just lie on top of this with a thin little blanket - sometimes not even that! Of course, this is all subjective. I get really hot when I sleep and I dont mind the cold as much as other people. I dont think the Linenspa is suitable for places like Florida though!
I love the fact that the Duck and Goose comforter has stitched pockets so the inner filling does not move around all over the comforter while sleeping! We got this for the kids, and they all say they are loving it!
Since we live in New England, we opted for the all-season option of the WhatsBedding duvet, in the color dark gray. It looks really slick, even without any duvet cover on top of it. I am still searching for some duvet covers, but so far we are enjoying using it without any cover as well. It held up to one New England winter, which was colder than usual actually. In the summertime, it is not getting us hot at all. It might be not heavy enough for harsher winters (for people in Buffalo, or Canada maybe) but for New England, it gets the job done. Not to mention it is very economical too, unlike some other duvets which cost over 100 bucks!
The Linenspa comforter is hands down the best option when it comes to providing different colors. We got the Stone and Charcoal. The comforter is reversible and both colors are great for my sons room. We usually keep it in stone but occasionally I switch to charcoal after I wash the comforter. The other color options were looking pretty good as well. I hate the fact they only provide you with the option white and grey only when it comes to comforters, and I appreciate the variety Linenspa offers!
My biggest complaint about comforters is the fact that the down moves all over the place, so you are sometimes just left with a cold sheet. Do you have the same kind of problem with the Apsmile Comforter as well or not?
I know what you mean, the plushness just goes away to one side and you are just wrapped around by a thin bedsheet. I hate that too! Fortunately, the square parts of the comforter are sewn shut, so the feathers will not move around the comforter, they will stay put. Thanks for watching the video!
The Duck and Goose might be cheap, but it definitely feels like hotel quality - not the Red Roof Inn, more like Sheraton. I get hot really quickly, unlike my wife who gets cold if the weather drops a single degree. This works for both of us. We live in the Bay Area where nights can get chilly sometimes, she does not get cold and I dont get hot!
I live in Texas where it is warm year-round, so I was wondering whether the WhatsBedding comforter is actually lightweight, or will it be overkill on hot days?
Well, each part of TX is different but if the nights get cool and chilly, the WhatsBedding comforter will do the trick. Its definitely not heavy and it keeps cool because it is breathable, unlike some other comforters out there.
Great question! The Hombys All-Season Down Comforter is dry cleaning only. You should not really wash any of these comforters, even if the manufacturer says it is OK to do. Thanks for watching the video!
Hi there! Unfortunately, they do not sell California King size comforters, they offer Twin, Queen, and King size comforters. Thanks a lot for watching the video!
