You’re a Goat, about a year ago I was at an interview for McDonald’s and i watched your video, I got hired, and now I’m going to a Dunkin Donuts interview, I hope to have the same luck, your videos are extremely helpful, Thank You🙏🏻
Look clean and presentable, keep a smile, motivated and like he said NEVER ever say I need Friday, Sat and Sunday off... You'll get laughed at and passed up. BTW you don't need experience or knowledge of products you will be trained. If hired never stand around holding up counters arms folded that's the worse thing a manager wants to see, stock fill and clean during down times and don't be affriad to ask what can you do,If you get in one Dunkin and learn everything I promise you'll have a job for life and plenty of chances to take management positions. And lots availability to move around until you find the right one that's the hardest part. Don't steal show up and your good... Good luck
@Kila ishere I realize dunkin is not for everyone and some I guess like yourself believe it's a dead end job and honestly it's not I've been with the company over 10 years I over see 3 of the stores being a GM my hours are flexible and pretty easy but I did have to grind to get there I'm currently at 23 an hour benefits vacation and sick days and my pay goes up every 6 months so it's a decent living for myself enyways....maybe you shouldn't be so quick to judge alot of people make a career out of dunkin and there is no shame in honest pay. Good luck to you in life sweetheart
@Kila ishere yes love that's great advice for you and that's what I preach to my 22 year old daughter your absolutely right but unfortunately I decided school was not for me and at my age it's kind of hard to go back, all I'm saying is don't knock people just trying to make a living or if they choose a different path... BUT YESS STAY IN SCHOOL!
What should I say for I can work any time during the summer, but when school starts I have to work after school. Cause like I feel like they would know I’m looking for a part time since I’m 16, and that during school months I can’t work after a certain amount of time
I wouldn’t mention it until school comes around. Or phrase it like “I plan to work full time for as long as possible until school starts.” (I’m not a professional but that’s just my advice.)
Thanks a lot. I'll go for training tomorrow. My boss really a helpful personality. I have to follow your very good suggestions. Thinks for your advice.
So basically we have to lie to get a job and be perfect but when u start working it’s fine to be negative jus not in the interview doesn’t really make sense
i thought it went pretty well, it lasted around 5 minutes which was kinda fast imo. they said they’d call me in a day or two to let me know if i got the job, but they didn’t call. i accepted a job at vons a couple days later, so it wasn’t the end of the world
My interviews in 2 hours😅thanks for this this is only my second job and my first one I didn’t have to interview because my foster mom worked there and she got me the job
I got a job interview tomorrow and I'm so nervous I'm afraid to mess up! Thank you for having this video, it really helped me on what to expect when I go there tomorrow.
@@celiat1587 it went really well, it was super quick and the guy interviewing me was very nice and chill. There really was nothing for me to be nervous about to be honest haha! And I did get the job as well. Good luck with yours!!
I'm interviewing for GM at Dunkin tomorrow. Is it bad to say I left my management position cause I needed to focus on my young children. However I left and then came back to that job, and am currently there. Is it bad to bring notes. This is the first interview I feel I could do great at, because I am more than ready for this responsibility and very confident in my abilities.
For me I’m gonna say my weakness first and back it up with a strength because it gives evidence and not to much thinking haha! Here’s what imma say: “I have an anxiety disorder and battling with this anxiety disorder can be challenging at times and overwhelming but I’ve practice deep breathing and mindfulness to keep my anxiety under control, and that strengthen me to maintain my composure under stress.” If you wanna use my example 🙃! Wish me luck on this interview tmr I’ll update you if I got the job hahaha!
@@vaddix9980 i ended up not going since the dunkin was kind of far and i decided it wouldnt be a good fit for me but i have an interview tmmr at a diff place hopefully it goes well
So for the reason I quit I came up with an example for you all cus this is hard I got the interview tmr I’ll let you know if I get it: I decided to leave my last job because I’m looking for a role that aligns more closely with my passion for pastry and coffee. I’m particularly drawn to Dunkin’ Donuts because of its focus on these areas.
interview tomorrow, but i applied for weekends only. hopefully they don't confuse me with being full-time update: I might actually get this job! the manager says they are looking for weekend shift hires! here's what they asked me: why do you want to work at dunkin? how can you apply yourself to this location? i have an second interview next Tuesday, I'll update this again when I go
Did you ever get the job 3 years ago? Did you like it lol😂I go today. RU-vid is like a Time Machine so I figured I’d come back to 2021 and ask how it’s going lol❤
