If you are having Trouble with the breeder. Break every bed and replace them! - The baby needs to link to the bed, think its theirs and want to walk over to it and jump on it!

hot tip, with the chicken farm (or any farm that involves entity cramming) you can change the max amount of entities in one block by changing the setting in the game rule section when you're creating a new world

Dang man, I don't comment on a lot of videos but I gotta say, this one really was useful. Hey chapman, I'm coming back to ya. Hope you're well! This is a question in relation to the crop farm specifically. From the time I built it, the crop farm I made was your design with the hopper minecart (the upgraded version) it hasnt happened to me often, but I'd say a few times in total now, I've come to the farm to find that the hopper minecart itself has popped up out of the hopper between the 2 villagers, and is in the crop square itself. This has made the whole system stop working and I even found the 2 trying to breed earlier today when this happened again. I'm wondering if theres a way to make sure that the hopper minecart will not pop out of the side without a trapdoor on it and into the crop field? I have tried putting another trap door down to lock the minecart in place on all sides, but the farmer then jumps on top of it and its just a mess lol. I might try a torch maybe, something they can walk through that will still "lock" that block so that the minecart cannot pop out. Do you have any suggestions?

The iron farm was my first ever farm and it works decently and is super easy to build! A gollum spawned on top of one of the four blocks at the top so I added a dirt block to each of the four and flattened it and it’s been working really well

You may want to replace the lava with a piece of carpet, and use a Johnny Vindicator to yeet the chickens if you want raw chicken later on. Much more useful for emerald trades later on.

@@bradders0228either you've built something wrong, or you're on Bedrock where dispensers will incorrectly pass redstone signal through to adjacent blocks.

Hi! Hope you are doing good! I built the iron farm and was working fine! Then they stopped spawning iron golems. I searched underground to make sure there were no caves. I ended up killing the villagers and placing new ones and that worked for a couple of minutes and stop spawning again. Any idea what I could do to fix it? I’m thinking on making it higher in the ground just because it’s close by to the crop farm and villager breeder, and I’m not sure if that messes with the iron golems. It’s weird that it works and the stops working. Hope to get a reply , thanks for the videos definitely subscribed!

I was able to fix the iron golem farm. Villagers need to be able to sleep in order for them to keep spawning if not it won’t work!

Separate or they’ll be really slow together. It’d work but definitely just worth building separate. And the breeder won’t stop working as long as there’s beds and they consume food when breeding

You will need a Silk Touch pickaxe if you just want to get stone since a normal pickaxe will only give you cobblestones. Though cobblestone can be turned back into stone using a furnace

Yes and no. You would still need two villagers in the farm area, as the villager outside the farm area cannot breed with the one inside it, which means you will not get anywhere near as many crops being thrown to the outside villager. It is much more efficient to do those separately. (Like orders of magnitude more efficient, not just a tiny increase.)

This chicken farm design is lossy. You will lose some of the drops from the chickens on occasion, and you will still occasionally get uncooked chicken come through. The double burnout torch is clever, though not entirely needed, as chickens just don't lay eggs that quickly, even with 24 of them in the cage.

If you don't want to set up a minecart system, make a room somewhere near your collection area, and block it off either with an iron door or just blocks that you can break and replace. Put a workstation (composter is the easiest) in that room, and when you want a villager, open up the room, and let one of them pathfind out to the workstation. Close the room back up, and keep moving the workstation to lure your villager away. Once you're up on surface level, use a boat to get him where you want him faster.

No, the fences are just there to keep the villagers in place. Double check your beds to make sure you have two full air blocks above the beds, otherwise they won't produce babies. There needs to be room that the baby villagers would be able to jump up and down on the beds for it to count as a valid bed for a baby villager.

Replace the solid block above the composter with a jack-o'-lantern and place trapdoors on the lower half of all four sides of it, as well as in the corners between those trapdoors to prevent the farmer from actually reaching the composter.

If you've built the breeder too close to your village, your babies have linked to the wrong beds. If you're on Bedrock, breeders need to be at least around 120 blocks away from ANY other beds, AND you need to get the babies that far away from the breeder ASAP to get them to unlink from those beds for the breeder to keep working. Alternately, send the baby villagers through to the nether which breaks the connection to the beds, but that's more complicated and removes the whole "early game" concept from the farm.

Hi, I've been stuck on the crop farm for a couple hours. I've followed the instructions 3 times, and each time the farmer will go to trade but then just stare at the villager instead of throwing the wheat. The trap doors are correct, the minecart is pushed in all the way and with the rail removed, the slab at the top is in the right place.... I'm at a loss. Any idea what could be happening?

Their inventory will fill up with seeds, poisonous potatoes, so it will work, for a while, then eventually it will stop. Carrots are the best because, it's both the material that gets planted & traded!

All but the iron farm ought to work in Bedrock. Iron farms in Bedrock are a more involved sort of thing.

Villager breeding is also much pickier on Bedrock. You will need to move your baby villagers WAY far away from the beds, as they will maintain the link with them regardless of whether they can pathfind to them. Minimum of around 120 blocks, IIRC, but double check the wiki for exact numbers. You can use a bunch of water streams in the collection area to get the baby villagers away from the breeder.

You don't want either of the adult villagers to go into the hole; that is there to collect your baby villagers, not the adults. The adult villagers will never reach the area with the beds, they're not supposed to.

I know this is 2 months old but the 2 on here I've tried fail so far. The chicken coop, eggs do not go into hopper, they stay on top of it. (weird i thought too...) Second is the crop farm. I've left it for days and only got like 6-7 carrots. Anyone else experience issues with any of these 2 and know if its just patched? I did the minecart crop farm version the original wasn't getting anything at all.

My chicken farm is not collecting the eggs and when it does it does not send them to the dispenser to be shot. I can manually grab the eggs by jumping close to it and then put in dispenser to be shot, but this sort of defeats the purpose, no?

If you're on Bedrock, this design might not work properly because of how the redstone is wired. Dispensers in Bedrock will incorrectly pass redstone through them to adjacent blocks, meaning it is also rapidly locking the hopper. Get rid of the second redstone torch, block above it, and piece of redstone. The redstone torch will burnout, and give the hopper time to collect eggs while it is on cool down before shooting anything from the dispenser again.

He has a slot of wheat seeds destroy the wheat immediately and take the seeds so that the villager dont have wheat seeds in his inventory after some time all he has is carrots

I could not get my villager breeder to work. Followed every step, and every seems to be working, but when the farmer shares crops, they both get hearts a few times, then the stormy cloud. Why is that ?

that's cuz you are looking at them. don't look at them when the hearts show up and it should work

You've put a roof over your area with the beds and not left enough space above them. Needs to be two blocks of air ABOVE the beds otherwise there is not enough room for the babies to jump up and down on them.
