Hey mate, I installed the LED's in my driving lights a couple of days ago. Fan bloody tastic. Such an improvement brighten up the road ahead and sides on my early morning trip to work. Thank you for your tips. Frank
Toyota has fixed most of these lighting issues. My 2024 Rav 4 already has LED interior lights and LED fog lights. My model also has a wireless phone charger as standard.
while following your instructions for installing the hathlights I improvised a couple improvements to the install that makes it much easier. 1) by the fishing the harness that goes down the passenger side c-piller down from above to the factory light opening. then you don't need to pry those trim pieces loose to do the power hookup. And, 2) spraying silicon lubricant on the harness makes it much easier to slide through the rubber gromet at the top of the rear hatch area.
Dish soap, 11 inch zip tie and electrical tape helped me a lot to get through the grommets I lubed up zip tie even some on the tape and more on the wire sleeve wasn't shy took ounce I saw the zip tie atbthe other end just pull and it was through no problem these lights so freaking bright great edition

Fair question, honestly I don’t know. For what it’s worth these mods have been installed for 2 years now and I’ve not run into a single issue. Everything in the video is plug and play and can be removed in case a service tech didn’t want to service it because of the mods. I haven’t personally had anyone at Toyota deny me service.
Does the charger base also provide wireless car play? A popular addition from other videos is wireless car play. A component that added that plus the usb c port would be great...
Thank you for watching!! Sadly it does not do wireless CarPlay. There is a dongle I tried on Amazon but didn’t personally care for the wireless aspect. I prefer to be hard wired and have my phone out of my sight so I’m not tempted to use it while driving.
Ich bin nicht ganz anderer Meinung. Ich denke, die Tatsache, dass wir auf RU-vid nach Mods suchen, bedeutet, dass das Fahrzeug, das wir haben, nicht alles hat, was wir wollen. Ich denke, die Lichter sollten zum Beispiel LED-Standard sein, aber sie sind es nicht. Um es kurz zu machen, ich denke, Toyota hat einiges zu tun, aber im gleichen Atemzug sage ich, dass ich denke, dass sie einige der zuverlässigsten Fahrzeuge sind, die man heute kaufen kann! Ours is same as yours but I gotta say that Blueprint color might be my favorite if I could choose - which I could not as we could not find a new one and had to buy slightly used but at NEW prices LOL@@GaryCantrell
