Nice video and good content. I would say however that for a 10 ml roller bottle (with a base oil), 3 to 5 drops of essential oil is more than enough. Take for example a base oil in a 30 ml bottle, 3-6 drops of essential oil is the recommended dose. For a facial preparation, we add the essential oils not for scent but for the therapeutic value. Too high of an essential oil ratio can be extremely drying and can potentially have the adverse effect on the delicate tissue on the face. If we are preparing a body oil, we could then use a higher dose of essential oils. For example, a 30 ml base oil amount, 12 drops of essential oil is the recommended dose. I write this with much respect and appreciation for your beautiful channel.
Great work 👍Laura thanks a question is there a way to test if any essential oil is allergic to my skin or not before putting into the cream or lotion that I will be making thanks to you ❤️
thanks so much for this awesome video, super impressed with your assential oils school! btw is it possible to use almond oil instead of coconut oil for my face? I have a huge bottle, and don't feel buying extra stuff
Oh, I love all of your informative videos especially those emphasizing anything correlating to fragrance. As a homemaker, I always seek creative ways to save our family money... and well, to promote creativity. I already prepare my own room sprays, facial mist sprays, and I'd like to prepare candles, gain more insight about preparing high-quality perfumes w/ natural products. Today, I purchased more argan oil to incorporate into an at-home beauty product. So, your videos are quite helpful for acknowledging tutorials, new tips and tricks! Thank you!
This is some valuable information! Thank you. I’m currently using lime oil with almond oil fresh outta the shower. Mine is Lime Therapeutic Grade. I’ve put a few drops on my face without the almond oil and it sunk in beautifully on my freshly washed face and neck. I didn’t realize the strengths were so much different than essential oil that is meant to be diluted. Some people still will be sensitive to the therapeutic grade, but it is designed at a weaker potent level for what I understand. It can be applied directly to the skin in moderate amounts? I wish you could do a video on the two. I’ll have to check your channel. You may already have that out there. New subbie here. 😌 Thank you for that photosensitive tip. That is a big one that people do not realize. You’re a gem 💎
Well I've binged watched your channel all day today it's now 4am and I don't want to turn the TV off too sleep 😅😅😅. I will watch everything you have posted absolutely amazing. Oh and I've added over 200 pounds of recommendations and supplies which I now have to start deleting or saving 😢😢😢😢😢😢.

You mentioned Rose. There is so many different Rose essential oils out there. Which one do you think works best with other oils you mentioned. There's Rose Otto, Rosewood, Rose geranium and Rosalina .
@@ouroilyhouse yes I do...I even tried the immortelle (not sure if I spelled right, lol) but that too gave me a rash so I looked into the oils it has and myrrh was in there so had to stopped using...so I just stay away from it...😔
I love coconut oil for skin but causes hard bump type breakouts on my face so I keep it to my arms legs and hair. As someone with acne prone skin I oil cleanse with a 50/50 combo of olive and avocado oil and it has been the best change for my face.
@@ouroilyhouse Thank you. I enjoy your videos and made the 3 ingredient body butter tonight. I used lavender, frankincense, helichrysum, and geranium oils in the cream. It turned out well, I think.
I use fractionated coconut oil to dilute the oils. We use a lot of it. Is there coconut oil that you can buy that is in a larger bottle that will last longer? I always buy the Doterra fractionated coconut oil but I wish they would come in a larger size bottle.
How do u know that these essential oils work? Are there any scientific sources or evidence of this? I'm just curious not being disrespectful, I really wanted to know.
