Disco was the absolute best dancing era. Guys dressed to the nines and the ladies were hot!! Dancing til 3 a.m. Best shape of my life. Freakin Fantastic. Wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. My partner, Julian, and I used to clear the floor. 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Sitting here watching the dancers and listening to the music brings back memories of my teen years. All of those years ago I was dancing like this and loving every minute of it. The dances back then really took a lot of muscle strength and a cross between ballet and salsa dancing. Yes I was one of the top dancers in our town. I would spend hours just practicing my steps and lifts. It was never a problem practicing because of how much I love to dance. From the time I was 8 years old, I had always wanted to be a dancer, but our family didn't have the money for me to take dance classes. So every single dance step that I was able to do was just from watching other dancers on the T.V. , watching their every move. I can remember dancing with my dance partner, we would completely clear the dance floor, and everyone would be standing back watching us dance as they cheered us along. The art of dancing came really easy to me. I truly loved every minute while I was on the dance floor. I wish that I could still do dance like that.
the big problem getting older and older is problem your energy level starting decrease the worst thing in life the life of dancers is extremely short and also for sporty people but the dancers have shorter life than sporty people also you cannot record in so you think you can dance program if your age above 30 unfortunately i am near from that age that is very very sad for me because i want to be dancer i love dance too much being a dancer and participating in competition is a big accomplishment for me because you think that you take advantage of your youth i feel proud of yourself so sad that your family didn't have money when you was child i did not think that dances classes is very expensive in my point of view dance classes or sport schools should be free for who don't have enough money because some people like you and others have talents even in third world but they don't get support to develop their talent like you
The first couple, I mean... let me pick up my jaw from the floor, their dancing totally out of this world, they killed the dance floor!!!, and later they dropped the mic.
Whether you like this music or not (and I personally like it a lot), you have to admire the abilities of these incredible dancers. This stuff takes some serious athleticism, imagination, timing, and grace, all rolled into one. Fantastic!

High on the 'Geritol' .......amazing feet here, disco always was a fun dance. Geritol is a real necessity to be able to have the high energy needed to dance like these people.
I don't remember what date it was but i saw sylvester perform at the Roxy here in Manhattan..too too wild! FANTASTIC talent just like #2 and #3 partners. Energy and exquisite precision and passion are in total harmony here. Wow!
Janette was a BOSS. She tripped and still powered through that routine and owned it Also...I forgot just how much I loved Natalie in season 2. It killed me she didn't make the finale that year. She was amazing
William, William, WILLIAM! I was going to post almost exactly the same thing. Janette and Brandon had the most difficult disco by far and absolutely CRUSHED it. And, for me, Natalie and Musa are still the sexiest couple in SYTYCD history. Their chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥!
