It's nice to see when a new model comes out my old model is still super nice. If I didn't have a versa-notcher I would buy the new one. For now mine is still awesome. The new one is awesomer but I don't work with that big of a tube. Thank you for your time.

Thank you! Yes, it adds a few more degrees of adjustability (pun intended), but I don't think we've taken the VersaNotcher away from it's well earned place for value in notching tools!

How would I use this in a dedicated drill press? Hmmm.

You can if you want. It's an articulating vise with a linear drill shaft. You already have a beefy linear drill shaft (drill press). Either line yours up with the notcher shaft, or remove the block and shaft and see if your drill press will tolerate that type of loading on the spindle. I've seen several set up with our notchers over the years. -Joe
