Check out Harris Heller. Not gonna lie but I love RandomFrankP but these mics sound AWFUL. Harris Heller has done a TON of mic tests on his then Alpha Gaming channel now Senpai Gaming channel and he does them with Ryan for a majority who is an audio expert. He has some great options ranging from expensive to affordable.

How is it for discord and stuff like that?

How would it compare to the Hyperx Holocast in terms of sound quality?

@@defy8988 Oh nice. I'm actually thinking of getting either the Solocast or the T683 after seeing your comment lol. Reviews seemed pretty solid but haven't found a direct comparison with it vs the Hyperx Solocast. Which one would you recommend? Since they're roughly the same price

@@AngryBacteria as I mentioned in my original comment I personally use the Rode Procaster, which is a nice "budget" option (I got it for $188 used). If you want to go even cheaper then the Rode Podmic is a good option. If you have fat stacks of cash then I would look at the Shure sm7b, or Electrovoice RE20, RE320, or RE27.

As someone who streams with an NT USB mini, I feel this. Luckily, there's plenty of audio filters built into OBS that can help you tune all the extra stuff out and get the audio nice and crispy. Not a bad buy at all, so long as you put it on an arm to keep it away from the keyboard. lmao

@@DankoleClouds rtx broadcast makes condenser mics very useable. Would recommend using that plus maybe some filters in obs to really make it cancel out noise without it cutting and cancelling your own voice.

I'm using the AT2020 in combination with a Scarlett 2i2, it's great! 90€ for the mic I believe, ~150 for the interface. USB is the easier solution here of course

@@kingjack6053 Nope. The shock mount is mandatory, unfortunately. I don't like it either. But it does what it's meant to do, I guess.

He already did dude lol look at his channel, he just released videos for the best of each peripheral you would need, and your gonna be hard pressed to find the best of anything at the 50 dollar price point

You're not gonna get the "best" at $50 each. It's been a month, so you've probably already done your shopping, but I'd recommend the following: For a keyboard, get yourself an RK68. It's $57 and much better than most razer "gaming" crap. It's hotswappable, so if you ever decide you want better switches, you can easily slap them in without having to buy a whole new keyboard. Also, don't get cherry blues. You'll be hating yourself in a month if you do, trust me. (And so will all your friends) There's plenty of decent mice for your price point. Logitech makes some, Glorious, whatever. If you can avoid the need for a headset, don't get a headset. If you can get a separate mic and headphones, you'll pay much less money for much better products. At $50, you're not gonna find anything but entry level headphones. If you care about audio, (Which I think you should! We often invest in visuals, i.e. fps and resolution, but audio is the other half of the actual experience!) I would bump up your budget. Save up a little longer. A nice Sennheiser will last you years, you may never need to buy another headphone again. Their frequency response tends to be much more neutral than their peers (And FAR better than gaming headsets), their build quality is great, and their soundstage/imaging is decent (depending on the series). You'll be able to enjoy them for gaming and for media, as opposed to brighter headphones like Beyerdynamics which can get painful. I personally use the HD599. I would avoid the 600 series, as they have poorer soundstage, not something you want for gaming.
