Dropped Items efx, makes all monster drops and slingshot drops more visible. Honestly my favorite qol mod

i like souvenur's light pillar more, it's less cute-ish as it's just a basic pylon of light instead of paw/zenny/slinger icons

Cutscene skip if I plan on doing another playthrough and can just breeze through it, Mantle Remover strictly for fashion (the downside is you need to really pay attention to your mantle status to manually take it off for cooldown, and some layered armor for hair make you go baldish), Better Inputs so I dont have to spam inputs and just feels overall nice to use, blood efx to get that classic OG feel, and (i forget which one specifically) a mod to remove the EFX of criticals because it gets way too flashy and disruptive visually when in an SOS.

As a bowgunner, I use the better input mod. It basically lets me hold the right trigger to fire continuously. I broke the spring of my dualsense due to trigger mashing, so avoiding that is a plus for me. It's also allowed in TA rules if you want to speedrun. There's also the efx nuke and scope pov mods that make the scope less straining on the eyes

Raptor's quests is an awesome mod that adds new quests for the game, one of the which is called "The Final Judgement", where you have to slay a Ruiner Nergigante, Lunastra, Safi'jiiva and 2 Alatreons (one fire and the other ice) within 80 minutes, and there is an extreme dificult version, where you have 50 minutes, 1 faint limit and all of them are Arch Tempered

A QoL mod that I use adds icons to the mini map for gathering locations in the guiding lands. Not even knowing the possible spawns made it extremely difficult to learn routes

Aside from simple QoL mods that don't alter the gameplay at all, I guilt free use 1. the MHXX-style SAED mod 2. Camera distance change: zoom 300. And nobody can stop me.

I wanna know if the matchmaking mod comes with a risk? Since it bypasses region lock. I'm not really familiar with capcom's t&c so some insights are greatly appreciated

You will not get banned from modding, even cheat ones, it's frowned upon by the player base, especially if you flaunt that you did all the damage but clearly hacking, but it's not bannable, don't worry about it

It appears that Capcom is relatively laissez-faire about modding, and I haven't seen anyone being barred from the game exclusively for modding. As I am not a Capcom Creator, I do not have access to someone who can readily answer your question, nor can I speak on their behalf :( As for the matchmaking mod in particular, there is no risk that I've seen (aside from maybe not knowing the language?), but I will make a video about it should I see an issue

I recently installed a 'better matchmaking' mod, and it seems to be working well. However, I've noticed that there's a Command Prompt (CMD) window running in the background while I'm playing. Is this normal behavior for the mod, or should I be concerned about it?

I haven't seen or heard a person who got banned explicitly for modding the game. The player base does generally frown upon using cheat mods in public, so make sure you keep those to yourself if you get them :) I'll make a video if I get contacted by Capcom about modding

I dont know there’s that mod that really improve qol, will check it out later. I’m so tired to have to run all the way down to bottom floor to get to smithy lol
