4:00 - YES! I love Satch mixing minor in with minor pentatonic and it's a big thing that distinguishes more 'interesting' playing over 'straight blues'. I've also noticed how Satch will sometimes play a major or mixolydian element within context of a pentatonic minor- see the final notes of "Motorcycle Driver".

Satch and Jeff Beck are my fave composers when it comes to guitar ballads, it's like their guitar is singing to you... Great video very cool playing and a beautiful guitar collection in the background.

For this track I was plugged into the AXE FX, so I was using the auto wah block within that.

Have you looked at my secrets to speed videos? A lot of learning to play that way is about how you practice and doesn't require a ton of time actually. It's alll about working in sprints instead of marathons.
