Techno isn't a coverall term for all dance music, it's its own subgenre. If you like this you'll love trance artists like Mauro Picotto, Armin Van Buuren, Will Atkinson, Ben Hemsley etc. Techno is loopy and continuous without huge melodic breakdowns and huge drops, Look into Jeff Mills, Adam Beyer, Sven Vath etc. Funk Assault are a new duo making amazing modern techno.
