Top 5 Haunted Locations: Mississippi 

This place is spooky, I worked there for one day I went upstairs realized I needed more sheets for the bed,, I could feel something watching me or something just was not right I went back downstairs had no thought of quitting but when I got to the last step that was it I just quit never went back to get my money, but it is a beautiful place it used to be a place that will give out clothes back in the early sixties I'm 61 now

I have visited the McRaven several times for history tour and ghost tours prob 5 times total and even once on a ghost hunt until 4 Am . I have never experienced and ghost , spirts , or anything abnormal here . This is a very unique and historic home with lots of true to history artifacts . Probably the most true to history and found on the property too. Very good tours, very knowledgeable tour guides , amazing structure . Beautiful gardens and home . I have encountered spirts , ghost or something however in Vicksburg once at a location in one of the antique stores upstairs by a little girl , but never at this location . Maybe they just did not want to connect all of the times I visited the McRaven . But if you are looking for a great history filled beautiful place to tour its a must if you are in Vicksburg

I live in Vicksburg Mississippi, the jail house is right across the street from this place and also where you get your license renewed, I was waiting on my sister to come out from getting her license renewed on a bright sunny day I kept hearing something I looked around looked around and all the sudden looked across the street at this yellow house that sits a little on the hill a big tree limb fell off I thank God no one was coming out of that house😮

My husband and I stayed at Cedar Grove. We stayed in one of the pool house rooms. I had a creepy feeling in the bathroom ,like someone was watching me. We were settled in bed, turned the lights off. Next thing I knew, it felt like someone sat down on the foot of the bed. I called my husband's name. He said, That wasn't me! We slept with a light on lol.

Very interesting. Better stay away from graves like Witches grave. Who wants to invite trouble ?

Never been to Mississippi. I read about a lot of encounters', though.

Yazoo City is the worst place in Mississippi to live whenever tornadoes are bad storms come through Mississippi and always hit Yazoo City, around 45 mi away from Vicksburg Mississippi

Want spooky. Drive down a dirt road in Attala Co. in the dark and not think of a booger man. I've got stories of something going back to WWI.
