SUMMARY (like for people) Add in the end (that’s why Johnny’s the best). I assume that you like streetwear (which is all about personal and creative expression) 1. Oversized. Easy to lol good with. Be careful with going too far and the proportions (will depend on body type). They go with the essence of the hoodie: sportines, functionality (liberty of movement) and comfort. Buy better oversized because it was design look better (better drape, structure in the shoulder to look better, length and proportions are better) but if can’t afford it, buy cheaply and tailor it to the wishes proportions. 2. Fitted. Better for layering looks to avoiding an ugly, circular bulkiness (destroying the proportion and silhouette). Good for wearing stand alone too. Go slim, tapered fit, muscle fit and AVOID skin tight. 3. Essential Colors They are neutrals, muted colors and Earth tones. Give much more versatility to wardrobe (more occasions and outfits, don’t have the same Gucci shirt that grandma gave you). If they are unbranded (and make good outfits, proportions and color combinations) people won’t know how much you pay and how many you have. 4. Colored They can be color blocked or in a distinctive color. Preferably go with pastels, cool shades, and some color-blocked ones. 5. Graphics. The best for the guys that look for personal and creative expression, and a representantion on who they are (tastes, beliefs, personality, messages) through their clothing. Avoid cliché phrases, logos, images, unless that’s what you like.

Champion hoodies. More specifically the reverse weave in the taupe color or the old English embroidered ones are my two favorite.Albeit I'm a bigger dude like 6 foot and 290 something lbs but I usually rock a black Carhartt t shirt with the taupe champion hoodie grey Nike joggers and some air force ones with a dodgers hat. If I didn't have this hoodie the fit wouldn't look good at all.
Honestly great start is gildan. Super cheap and you can experiment with sizing since it’s more budget friendly then I really do recommend a higher end one from All saints or any other high end brand

Not sure how helpful this will be as it’s almost a year since your comment but zumiez has pretty cool graphic hoodies. Every so often they have some really cool stuff but tend to be a bit expensive depending on which brand you’re buying. If you’re looking for a slightly cheaper alternative, boathouse works too but it normally has more solid colours instead of graphic hoodies. Hope this helps
