Sir.. Life after BAMS especially in kerala is very pathetic at private sector salary of bams is less than 5 k... Heavy unemployment.. In govt sector also.. Very less vacancy .. Even after MD so many drs is migrating to north india for better salary.... Here contition is very pathetic

Arey bhai initial post MO hoti h , promotion hoke SMO (senior medical officer) phr CMO (chief medical officer) bhi bnte hain aur mauka mile to cdmo bhi. Ye Ayush m bhi applicable h (ayurveda ho ya homoeopathy). Ayurvedic , homoeopathic deptt alag independent hote hain mbbs se. Sbke apne cdmo hote hain jo duties allot krte hain apne region/district m aur sbhi m cmo , smo hote hain. Aisa nhi h ki sirf mbbs wale hi cmo bnte hain. I all ready done BAMS from Bangalore and was working as MO in a hospital there itself. Now due to some issues i came back to my native in up 2 years back. since that time m searching a good job for me but you know what in Delhi NCR Noida and all, there is like every hospital wants MBBS posts only. What will you say about this. And i have experience too in all like OPD WARD Emergency and surgical even then its too difficult to find a job.
But i do think ki bams from private is better than government the facilities are better and updated if u really want a career in this warna mbbs pr dhyan do
