Hi serge, I used to watch your vids at when first learning... 3yrs on and NOW they are relevant. So I'm an old new fan. Just one Q. Where can I dow load the books? I am on the spectrum and prefer to read than the seminar. Jamie
would be good to be more precise as I as well see only the ones with $94.50 or higher precise. Would be good to inlcude a freebie section on your website to attract users and sell ;) my view I give up to find them. Workshop prices must be an error two ;-)
For gradients to darken skies I've found that using the luminosity range mask works very well. You can use the slider to set the values so the gradient only affects the more luminous areas, i.e. the sky, and not the foreground. Very handy.
Sorry but you edit your pictures to strong, for me it is not a real photo anymore. Photography is about getting the ride shot with your Camera; with Filters etc. and Lightroom just to make it perfect, and not to make out a bad photo a good one just with some clicks .
Ansel Adams dodged and burned every one of his photos. He felt he was born too early because electronic photography was going to open up doors of creativity.
Hey Serge, great video. I purchased your collection after seeing this video, but for some reason after I put in all my details and pressed refresh so that the discount code could be applied, the email address info@sotangy.co.uk wasn't used and instead the email went to another address.. mooli. Can you please rectify this so that I am able to download these presets? Thank you . Once again, great vid.
Great video Serge - thanks! Until last year I was totally ignorant when it comes to Lightroom and my photo editing was pathetic at best. Then I stumbled upon one of Serge´s videos on RU-vid and started looking at more and more of them. I love the passion and energy that Serge exudes and I like the tempo of the language as well. Actually, I ended up buying Serge´s "Photo Serge Complete Pack" for something like $300 and I haven't regretted that for one second as it contains hours and hours and hours of tutorials and training. At first I hesitated but then I thought to myself that if I have spent $10.000 on cameras and lenses then surely $300 (or several thousand for that matter) for proper training is nothing - right??? Yes, Serge IS good at promoting himself and the website is really sexy with all the packages you can buy etc. but so what? I don't understand people who expect to get everything for free and that the person providing the content should be "innocent" and keep a low profile. He has to make a living, right??? Serge, I can not thank you enough for all your hard work! Keep it up and all the best for the future and a fruitful 2018!
Totally agree with tips 1, 3-5. I've never gotten into using presets so, just speaking personally, that one isn't rocking my world. If I were to add my own #2, it would probably be Smart Collections. I know, smart collections aren't an image processing tool. But they've become indispensable to my workflow and image management. Similar to the sync tool and (for you) presets, I find Smart Collections to be a huge time-saver. Thanks for your free tutorials and for sharing your passion for image-making.
like TSchnurr1 pointed out, it would be correct to say there are no free presets. Serge I liked your video but you lost respect by making me create an account, and sign up/subscribe for emails and still did not provide a link to download the free presets. Downvote +1.
Serge, great video, thanks. Will your presets work in ACR? I'm using CS6 with ACR. Most of the functionality in LR can be found in ACR. I would like to buy your presets if they'll work. Thank you.
I purchased the presets with 27dollar, inside has 5 types of different category folder with lots of presets and some free welcome gift preset files. Hope it can change my life after this. And thanks Serge Ramelli !
Love your tutorials! One thing I would like to see is an easy explanation for how to remove images and catalogues from old shoots in Lightroom, so I can free up some computer space. But I want to be able to reunite the images and catalogues in the future if I want to. Does that make sense?
Hello, I would like to know, can the editing points of these presets be activated and altered, or are these presets more like "filters" that can not be changed anymore? Thank you for help.
yeah you can change anything and everything in lightroom from a preset. All a preset does is apply a bunch of saved points in those sliders and filters etc, you can adjust/remove/exaggerate/add to your will, presets are just starting points to save some processing time in the workflow if you already know what type of look you're going for/you use the same kind of look for a certain type of photo/etc
Enough with the hyperbole....every one of your titles is like"ZOMG,YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS LIFE CHANGING TIP...LIMITED TIME...DON'T MISS...AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!"
adamaj sadly, if you want to make it as a photographer/teacher, a lot of marketing is necessary. Not a fan eighter. One of the reasons I have not gone pro (aka only source of income). But I went far enough to know that that is what it takes...
