I have a 06 civic 4D, a few things I'll def do is tint(texas heat is no joke), paint retouch(it is scratched alot & keyed at some point), blinking triangle next to the third break light when slowing down fast, add heated seats. Basically a OEM+ thing
@@ankith.s5344 the auto uses all information speed, throttle position, air flow, gas flow, how you are braking, etc to choose when to shift presumably. I doubt itd make that much a difference if the diameter was similar to stock. However I wouldn’t bother installing a CAI. I drove that stock intake through a foot an a half of water before, no issue. That sold me on the stock
Damn bruh. I got a 09 civic LX that I do dearly love man. I’m thinking about some great coilers for mine as well. You should add Mugen styled body kits to yours! I’m trying to find some but it’s hard because they barely make them anymore. Love your build though! #Honda
Look at chu detailing your car and all before the video, just for us, making us feel all special and sheet, you didnt have to do that, but we've noticed, super clean civic bro, I might get 1 too next week, but I will go the opposite route with it, I may turn it into a hatchback, we'll see
Hey bro, I'm searching how to install my front lip properly and IM REALLY BUMMMMED OUT MINE IS different!. Yours has a curve all the way to the side and i think it looks better than the one I just bought.... Mine front lip just has a hard line then straight down. Kinda like a rectangle popping out. Yours is like smooth and the curve look awesome. But one thing I think you need is the "JR2 Rear glass spoiler" The thin one, i installed mine and damn it makes it pop out! my honda is 2010 exl coupe in white. I havnt finished watching the vid -
You don’t know about cars huh, timing chain is better than timing belt it’s actually stronger lol most 2jz people put timing chain you get a stronger pull
I have an 8th gen civic coupe and have the black halo headlights, custom front grill, led, suspension, CAI, switchbacks and a SI wing. It's on chrome spyder tuner rims which have been discountunied since the early 2000's. I need to make a video and upload it. I think tints are not a mod but a must in Florida.
Thinking about getting a manual EX but idk cause they get hate “why would you mod that and not get an si” , I mean I do want a 9th gen si , but ig time will tell
@@jordanquizhpi3694 yup! It's a really dark blue color, I find it amazing but it's a R18 exclusive color and the prime interior color with royal blue pearl was beige so civic guys dispised it but today as an adult I'm so proud of the pop of color when you open the door to a 2006 gem, looks so clean! But Si guys got black interior or its a no go for the community! Really rare among tuners !
so it wasn’t just me, when i got my car tinted and i said i wanted the windshield the two guys looked at each other like “shiii” and said it would be extra, i guess the back and front windshield’s are just really hard to work with so it costs more to get it right
5% tint? Is that even legal? Looking on google it's around 30% in USA and Canada, but I know it differs depending on where exactly you are. That shit's dangerous, man. :P
Honestly power wise and how much easier it is to make them quick it’s true. The only way to get close to an si is to go boost but I kept mine as a daily and I’m thinking of selling it for a newer si or something . But r18s are good starter cars for sure and you can make them decently faster with bolt ons and a tune
R18 automatic is an amazing economy car. Honestly the r18 is a shitty engine to mod. Itd be cheaper to just buy a whole new car because everything on the r18 is designed for efficiency. Just install a cat back or something fun.
@@liammacleod4195 oh my bad lol, he said he had a 17x9 +35 in the rear and 17x9 +22 in the front. The reason for different offset is because he has brembo brakes on the front so he needs a little bit more space for the wheel itself to clear the brembo caliper
