just be honest and let them know that you want to get experience and that you provide the needs of the ideal associate and want to put these skills to use
@@iheartrnb5697 thanks That’s exaclty what I did about month ago and I was able to get the job I really love it now, I’d say it’s fun my coworkers tell me holidays is going to ruin it for me though 😂. For the interview I just mostly told them about how I’m doing in school and they were really impressed saying how I was mature for age.
Lets be honest with retail in general; Marshalls, Wal-Mart, Lowes...it dosent matter. They want people who do not care about a family work balance. They want people who will give up any and every opportunity to be at home or elsewhere to serve their needs and their scheduling wishes. They want you to be a number and a cog in their machine. No one below regional or district matters and everyone is an expendable number if the need arises. There is no loyalty to the employees and no recognition for any achievement or praise at the store level. Only at the top do people count and matter. You are there to basically make them money and nothing more. Retail is a dying industry and the pandemic has shown what the future holds for companies who still embrace the brick and mortar concept. People think ohhh the company pays me well I make $150 a day. They make that in one sale off of one customer over and over and over while you give up 8 or 9 hours of your life for one of their sales while they keep the other 300 sales or 400 sales for that day. Don't fall into the trap of retail worker.....please.
