The first weapon combination on the list has to be one of the most well rounded weapons in the entire game. The Big Pipe wrench head and Krat Police Baton handle. Now at first glance this weapon may seem a little underwhelming but its actually one of the most powerful weapon combos. For starters, the Krat Police Baton handle has decent scaling for motivity and when you apply a motivity crank you’ll achieve A tier scaling. The Big Pipe Wrench head has one of the highest damage outputs in the entire game. Combining these two together creates a lightweight weapon that offers insane damage potential. This weapon combo is perfect for anyone that wants a hard-hitting weapon early in the game that isn’t heavy.
The second weapon combination on this list is the Bone-Cutting sawblade and Brandle Curved Sword Handle. The curved sword handle scales evenly with motivity and technique so depending on your build, you may prioritize one over the other. The brandle curved sword handle comes with a fable art called furious slash. This ability allows you to quickly slash enemies in front of you multiple times. To make this fable art even stronger you can hold down the attack button for as long as you want which triggers a strong finisher attack at the end of the animation to help you mow down your enemies.
The third weapon combination on this list is actually one of the best weapon combos for an advance build. The Salamander Dagger Blade and the Acid crystal spear handle. This fire damage setup is able to inflict impressive amounts of burn damage on enemies who are vulnerable. When combined with the acid crystal spear handle, you’ll gain access to the Single Stab Fable art which unlocks the ability to stab your enemies quickly from range. The Acid Crystal Blade handle offers A tier scaling for Advance making it the perfect choice for a true advance build. The Salamander Dagger Blade has a Fable Art called ignite which greatly increases fire attack power temporarily meaning your burn build up will be faster and will also deal more damage.
The fourth weapon combo on this list is one of my all time favorite and its probably the one I used the most. The Live puppets axe blade and the booster glaive handle. This combo is so versatile. The speed, range, damage is all here. The Booster glaive handle is an amazing choice for technique builds thanks to it’s a tier scaling, it also has one of the best charged heavys in the game because of the range and damage is provides simultaneously. After you charge a heavy attack you can execute a powerful strike that will thrust you forward towards your enemies increasing your chances of landing the attack. The Patient Slash fable art on the booster glaive handle is even better! This powerful attack has the ability to hit all enemies around you and can also be charged to trigger a stronger attack. Pair this with the Killer attack fable art on the live puppets axe blade and you can execute another faster and more lethal attack that deals heavy damages to your enemies.
And lastly, a weapon combination which offers high electric attack power and range, The electric coil stick head and the electric coil handle. Perfect for anyone who wants to use an advance build that can apply electric shock. The fable art on the electric coil head is called generate which greatly increases electric blitz attack power. This fable art is very powerful and doesn’t require too much fable charge. You can actually find this weapon very early in the game and use it for your entire playthrough. When you pair the generate fable art with rush smash, it creates a powerful ranged attack that deals tons of posture damage and applies extra shock to your enemies.

Seeing Bone cutting saw and bramble handle make the list made my day. That combo got me through NG and NG+ and it was hard trying to use anything else. The charged R2 range is insane for cheese hit and dash tactics. With the right ring setup the furious slash fable art absolutely decimates. Top tier

My first playthrough in the end I use acidic great curved sword blade + coil mjolnir handle, a bit slow, but insane damage with big attack radius, also a ton of acid application works well

Just got the game and am in CH 4. I’m currently running the glaive blade with baton bottom which seems to work well. I’ll have to try the wrench head out but I like having the extra range on the glaive. Great content!

I've been using it since my first race. No other weapon comes close to its damage, I have countless weapons at maximum level and I made all the combinations. The charged attack hits from a long distance and it easily breaks weapons or takes away enemies' posture very quickly, I use it in quality, almost 60 technique and motivity. I just burned almost all bosses since first run

6 playthrus down here: actual best weapon combo for electric blitz is circular saw on the electric baton handle. You lose generate, but the saw blade is just all around superior. As for the other elements, the black steel cutter blade/handle is excellent as is, but if you prefer range at the expense of speed, you can use the electric saw handle with the black steel blade for a hilariously long polearm. For motivity builds, I much prefer coil Mjolnir to the wrench. It allows you to equip stagger grindstone, so you get elemental damage and even more stagger. You can use this on the police baton handle, or, when you reach NG+ and beyond, the far superior option is to use the dancer's curved sword handle with any of the elemental buff weapons (mjolnir, exploding pickaxe, and acid sword). The dancer's curved sword is primarily a technique weapon, but once you soft-cap your motivity scaling, this handle actually has the single best split scaling of any hand in the game of a non-boss weapon (C/B). You can put a motivity crank on it to make it B/C, but once you roughly even out your stats, it literally doesn't matter. My motivity build is no NG++ with 60 of each motivity and technique, and these 3 combos hit like an absolute truck, and have good range, as the dancer's curved sword has a nice forward leap with the charged heavies (not quite as good as the booster glaive, but close, and it comes out faster and has a 2-hit combo, which in my experience seems to deal much more damage and also apply the elemental effect faster), and relatively quick basic attacks, given how heavy the "blades" are. You also benefit from the fact that you can get any of the 3 elemental bonuses without the grindstone, meaning you can opt for even more utility (I usually prefer increased stagger, as previously mentioned, but perfect guard would also be fine against Nameless or Laxasia, especially at the start of phase 2). edit: just learned that for some inexplicable reason, grindstones don't actually stack with the mjolnir/exploding pickaxe/acid sword fable art elemental buff. Which makes 0% sense, given that the perfection grindstone and the grind fable absolutely DO stack...

Hey man you know Lies of P. Are u still playing? I'm on NG+ Area 9 as 40/40 Tech/Adv and was wondering if I switch to a 30/30/30 balance build plus any weapons you recommend? More in the motivity range since I have used most Adv and Tech weapons, want some big damage build. Thanks

@@TheEru88 aight, this gets complicated. If you're using an adv handle (which you should be), pump to 50. Iirc, that's when the returns become pretty dismal. Adv builds struggle a bit in the late NG+ and early NG++ because of the poor return on investment due to split scaling, so your goal should be to mitigate that as best as possible. Once you hit NG+++, and start nearing the hard caps, the damage on advance build starts to outscale because you have a 3rd stat to pump. I would prioritize using the S-scaling adv handles until you can no longer justify putting points into advance (50-60 or so). At that point, you have choices to make, as your damage stagnates a lot. What I did for my NG++ run was put adv cranks on nonelemental handles with better movesets (booster glaive is great for circular saw and black steel cutter can also use it or the dancer's curved sword handle, and city longspear is actually incredible with acidic spear blade). This will hurt your elemental damage a bit, but given the better movesets and mot/tec scaling boosts, you will likely be better off. By the time you are sitting at like 60+ in all 3 damage stats, it's time to go back to adv handles, HOWEVER do not use the S-scaling ones. You want the ones that had B-scaling (A when upgraded) in adv so that you also have either motivity or technique rating of C to max your dps. Electric baton handle + circular saw, acidic curved sword handle + black steel cutter blade are the best, imo. Acid options are lacking, because the acidic crystal axe blows. I actually kept the city longspear + acid spear combo for the range, but the base acid spear is still good.

Swamp Monster took me three and now like on try #7 vs Walker of Illusion (beat both first try in NG) Funny you talk Longspear cause my first build was Tech and that plus Tyrent Murderer Dagger. My weapons til now have been primarily Salamander blade with Acid Spear, Black steel with acidic curved sword (just change to circular saw with that handle but gotta try with the Police Baton you said) My levels are 31 vit 21 vigor 52 cap 5 mot 40 tech 40 adv Should I respec and get Adv to 50? Should I change my acid spear with the Longspear with this type of levels?

@@TheEru88 yes, I would switch to the non adv handles now, and pump mot to 40. Make sure you're putting adv cranks on those handles, btw. Imo best in slot combos will be dancer's+black steel, booster+saw, and longspear+acid spear.

I have been using Booster Glaive + Great Sword Blade along with puppet string and they work so well! Nothing fancy just your basic stuff but it actually slaps. The range is massive and with maxed out puppet string+fable art combo you can kill the minibosses before they even understand what's happening lol

I don’t think it’s particularly busted, but my personal favorite is Bramble Curved Sword head with the Exploding Pickaxe handle. It just lets you chain charged attacks with ease.

Disclaimer: this is my first souls like game that I've put any significant time into and i went into this game completely blind. Only just now after beating victor did i start watching videos on it. So don't flame me for not knowing anything becasue, well, i don't Sword dancer's handle + great sword of fate blade. It has good reach with lunge step slashing attacks that come off very quick. And the charged attack has two strikes with the last one putting enemies into fatal attack. So even if you miss the first one the second will still put them in the fatal attack state. I use this to my advantage because you can start the charge as the enemy approaches you. You miss the first strike and they'll walk into the second and go into fatal attack state. With the relatively high attack speed you can get a few hits in before performing the fatal attack. I've yet to try and push my luck with how many i can get off exactly but the most I'll do is 4.

thanks so much man, the pipe wrench + police baton was crazy. I thought heavy weapons are useless as enemies attacks in this game are too tight but with the puppet default sword even after heavily upgraded I couldn't defeat mad clown. But with wrench and few tries that smug from that fatass puppet, I took it and broke it into 100 pieces. Fookyeah !!!

For my 1st playthrough I used a TECHNIQUE build with: 1. Wintry Rapier Hadle + Wintry Rapier Blade 2. Tyrant Murderer's Dagger Handle + Wintry Rapier Blade 3. Tyrant Murderer's Dagger Handle + Acidic Crystal Blade For my 2nd playthrough I used a MOTIVITY build with: 1. Exploding Pickaxe Handle + Coil Mjolnir Hammer 2. Krat Police Baton Handle + Big Pipe Wrench (head) 3. Krat Police Baton Handle + Live Puppet's Axe Blade 4. Exploding Pickaxe Handle + Live Puppet's Axe Blade Now during my 3rd playthrough I'm using a ADVANCE build with: 1. Acidic Great Curved Sword Handle + Black Steel Cutter Blade 2. Acidic Great Curved Sword Handle + Circular Electric Chainsaw Blade 3. Acidic Crystal Spear Handle + Acidic Crystal Spear Blade And maybe for my future playthroughs I'm gonna use a "hybrid" build cuz by then my level is so high that I'll have so many points to throw into things :D

I have 66 hours and I am on ng+. I don't like rushing games. Wanna discover as much as I can. Also the game is hard as expected from a souls-like game.
