When I was building a base once somebody gave some random person maybe around a trillion or so worth of starship AI valves. This is just guessing because I didn't bother to count how many times he was given the stacks of AI valves. But I was just awestruck at the fact one person can obtain so much and give them away like that. But I know that it was probably obtained using glitches and whatnot.
TLDR: Indium scraps 3mil per, found in S/exotic ships when scrapped. Quantum Processor, 4.4 mil per, crafted. Stasis Device, 15.6 Mil per, crafted Fusioun Ignitor 15.6 mil per, crafted Starship AI valves, 50mil per, scrapping a ship worth as much. (Maybe)
I make credits in the game by building bases in an outlaw system, then simply raising freighters for smuggling goods. I fill my freighter and 2 storage containers in my freighter (which takes maybe 20 minutes), then I go to a normal space station and sell the lot. You can make 100s of millions over the space of an hour doing that. You also get freighter tech modules and Nanites while raiding freighters. Also you’ll get wanted pirate bounties popping up a lot in outlaw systems, that can pay anywhere from £100k to £500k just for taking out one ship.
Best way to actively make units that I've found. I also stop in the stations to pick up the hadal and larval cores for a significant amount of nanites, I am averaging 1-2k nanites per stop.
@@tehNashty You're looking at it the wrong way. Upgrade your ship storage to maximum. How much does it cost for the final slots? 300,000,000 units OR 1 Augment. Thus it's actual value is 300m M-Tool Augments = 50m It's a matter of perspective, but it's still valid. Is the Mona Lisa Priceless? Or is it's value just the cost if some paint and a canvas? NFT's are literally worth nothing, yet people pay millions for a dopey cartoon ape URL. Thus, the worthless URL is worth millions. Perspective.
Your hypothesis is part of the "Post Truth" epidemic. Stating an opinion as fact and defending it "TO THE END" is both ridiculous and dangerous. You must be one of these Trolls I hear about. All values stated in the video (see 0:22 - 0:33) and in all the comments, except for your singular comment, are in Base Values. The only people that I can imagine would agree with you would be someone who sold one and then turned around and bought their last slot. Would have cost 295% less to find a crashed ship, scrapped it and used the Starship Storage Augmentation INSTEAD of paying 300m. In summary: No, you are mistaken and being ridiculous. You don't have to pay 300m, therefore, it is not a real value. I hope you got your Troll giggles. I feel I have. I will have even more if you reply. I prefer the Fusion Igniters over the Stasis Devices, simply because I like the Icon it has. Yeah, it takes a bit to set up the crafting chain, but once it's done, you're good to go for as long as you want to keep the save alive. You'll need a Circuit Breaker farm, a Liquid Explosive farm, and farms for the three Noble Gasses (Radon, Nitrogen and Sulpherine) in order to start crafting in quantity. For the gasses I'll only set up farms with four Extractors and nine Supply Depots, which will give you 10,000 units of each gas. It will usually take 10 to 15 hours to fill all the Depots. Put a full stack of, say Radon, in a Large Refiner, then add Condensed Carbon and Chlorine to the other two intake hoppers and the 10,000 Radon will give you 100 Enriched Carbon. It's the same for all the gasses, so small farms are all you need for these. For the other two I'll generally set up farms that give 30 to 35 of each item for every harvest. It takes 20 to 25 Biodomes to achieve this, but I'll leave it to you to work out the amounts of each component you'll need to grow, and how to arrange the set-up of the farms. Have fun and be creative. The nice thing about them is that once you get it going, before you know it you'll be a billionaire, and when I get to that point I just start giving them out at the Nexus. (I mean, c'mon - there's only so much you can buy in this game). I go to the Anomaly, look for people coming in on the Radiant Pillar, or in cheap Explorers or Shuttles, and drop three or four into their inventories. For me, it's the best part of the game. Once I begin to feel jaded and things start to become repetitive, I'll delete the save and start fresh, trying to improve on each save over the previous one. It keeps the game interesting for me, but to each his own. Thanks for the post.

Just an fyi u can create the noble gasses from noble gasses. There is a loss but if u have a large enough farm it wont matter. Just create stacks and drop em in storage. May make the set up faster next time u run it.

I built (or almost built) a single system stasis farm in eissentam. Got all the mineral and gas elements, but petered out before finishing the farm part. I gotta say there are MUCH easier ways to get units.
There are for sure better ways. I had fun buillding mine and it felt like a big accomplishment but once i realized I could only use a few times before I maxed my units I was kind of upset.
I made a huge farm, created several bases for mine the necessary gasses and added carbon planters on my freighter (to used the steps to re span to collect a lot of carbon. I can craft both with ease, but it take a little time. It's good to have the resource for some quicksilver community goals (as farm has a bunch of every plant-able item). I also did active indium mining base which is much simpler. A few of those and sell to pilots (not the terminal) and its a quick money maker as well.
It's been a fun learning experience building mine, haven't even completed it and got enough units selling what I was able to craft to afford solid S class freighter, and multi-tool. At this point only going to finish it so have enough of a slush fund to run derelicts for modules and bulkheads.
To get ai valves the ships value has to be above 75 or 80 mil bc to scrap them there is a substantial loss of value. The key is to make sure the value when scrapped is more than 50 mil to get an ai valve.
@@MalfunctionNeo If you use the Storage Augmentations to upgrade and exotic, and scrap ALL the scrappable technologies, you can actually make money and nanites.
it took me weeks to craft stasis devices.. it was a fun journey... i had to build multiple farms for the supply as you need a ton of items to craft those.... i crafted like 200 stasis devices and then duplicated them a ton of times.... gave many of them in the anamoly... still have like 400 left...
Someone dropped a bunch of fusion ignitors in my inventory but I still haven't sold them yet since I wanna experience the game I will sell them when I get to the point that I could make as much on my own
Yeah that happens often. Mainly because No Man's Sky has a cap on how many units you can earn. If you get into high end craftables you will hit the unit cap pretty quick. So many players just give the stuff away. If you don't want to be gifted things turn off multiplayer in the anomaly unless you need it on. Thanks for watching

This happened to me as well and I missed the message prompt that someone had Givin it to me and I was like what are these and where did I get em then I went to the trade terminal and sold 1 that 1 got me a new ship, freighter and whatever else I needed till I needed more iv also gotten the starship valves the other day from destroying a pirate ship I was in a fight with I got 5 so I came out fat and happy with 250 mil units for a quick dog fight crazy I was blown away cause that was my first encounter with them

Yeah I did, Cat built one of them when I was still learning but my issue seemed to be will wire direction. I still have problems sometimes but I kind of came up with my own method to do them which had been working ok.
Best method: scrap a ton of cheap ships to aqquire a bunch of ship cargo augementations. Then go to a 3 star gek system. Buy an A class hauler with a decent cargo size... something for like 35-50,000,000 and max out the storage so its worth 110,000,000 and scrap it. Then you get your AI valve for free basicly, and make up some money to cover the 20% loss you take in scrapping ships. Its a lot of work and a lot of small ships scrapped. Most people either swap and reclaim ships with the exploit to get them for free, or get 1 AI valve and duplicate the crap out of it. Its hard to collect a number of them without cheating.

@@peadrianlastname 🤣 The Panhandling at the Nexus is out of hand. Theres a good chance I gave them to you at some point. I usually use AI valves or Stasis Devices to duplicate things. I figure if I am gonna cheat to fabricate goods from nothing, I might as well make it worth it for the unwitting player I am using to achieve it. I don't give junk, poop or individual molecules 😆 Plus the reaction of some noobs when you hand them a few AI valves or stack of tainted metal is worth it.
@@gwoody4003 lol I was one of those noobs the first time I got one, just went afk at the nexus cus I knew I'd be safe there while I smoked a cig then I got attacked by pirates when I left and couldn't figure out why until I went to sell something so I had room to craft warp fuel and found the ai module
I just started out this game today and I was going to my first blackhole in the main storyline and stopped by a outlaw system staton and sold an item to one of the vednors and they gave me 600M credits
When salvaging you get junk worth about 75% of the ship and some modules you can trade for nanites - which is whole point of doing it. The items are meaningless, they have no use other than adding a bit of immersion in the process of converting units to nanites. It’s basically a chit for x value with a pretty picture on it. Saying scrapping a valuable ship to get x component that is somehow going to make you money is just bs dude.
Yeah sometimes nexus missions or pirate missions will give away high end craftables, also your frigate missions will bring back a lot of the high end materials.
Man this vid could easily be over 2 hours long if you went full depth with it. Theres so many things you can find, collect and make its insane, and so many are hardly worth the effort lol. You would think an Enormous Metal Cog would at least have a novelty value lol. I wanna know what part of an advanced spacecraft is still using enormous cogs, or how I fit a dozen of them in my backpack. 🤣
They use the enormous metal cogs because they make the engine of your ship look cool so you can brag to your friends that your starship is a vintage model.
Scrapping ship you get about 75% of it's value back in various scrap materials. So I guess to get the AI valves worth 50 millions you will need to scrap a ship worth at least 75 millions. But since you get lots of different parts from scraping and not just 1 huge value scrap item, I guess that number must be way higher. My guess is to have a chance to get the AI valve you probably must scrap S class ship of at least 150 millions in value. That's my guess.
Actually no, you can get AI valves with a ship worth as little as 51 million. In those cases, you get more than the ship was worth in scrap but it's RNG as to when you will get one. The cheapest ship I've scrapped personally and received AI valves was 55million.
Haven’t played in about a year and a i hop into the Nexus and a player gifted me 50 **Starship AI Valves** I thanked him and he gave me 50 more 😮. Is this realistic because I don’t want to sell them if they were duped. I’m only asking cause this vid is 11 months old.
There is a point when money is meaningless. The only thing you will ever truly need it for is buying ships. When you reach the point where all that’s left is ship buying, you will be happy for the ai valves as they let you skip the grind of ship buying to get what you want. There’s no penalty for item duping as far as I can tell, especially since you can set your game to “creative” at any time and get stuff for free if you want. Duping really only saves you time if you don’t want to play in creative mode. It’s useful for getting to the parts of the game you enjoy. Personally, I like it as it invites me to “collect everything once”. I had the same fun in Terraria with its “creative” mode or whatever where you had to sacrifice a set amount of an item to be able to infinitely spawn it. Made me want to collect everything.
my friend duped them and misread the price of ai valves as 60,000 instead of 50,000,000 and once he found out he duped and sold so many that the price in one system became -99.9
I’m intimidated by the aura and sheer power of Space Anomaly players for giving away these game changing items for free. First four stacks of tainted metal, three stacks of technology modules, and a starship AI valve all from different players on the anomaly. You guys are crazy sometimes.

You can also sell 'S Class' upgrades for nanites. Launch Thruster Modules are the most valuable at 995 nanites each. I think the refiner glitch still works for duping them.
All you gotta do get chlorine and oxygen make 4095 and keep making them and sell it to random npcs in the station not the market if you sell it in the market I believe it loses its value
The good ol economy crashing. I did this for early money until getting things going. Chlorine and ionized cobalt. You have to sell at the stations, like 9 stacks of 9999 and sell all, then buy all back at the -80% price after you crashed it. Good times lol
You lose money every time you scrap a ship, the only way to make money doing that is by finding crashed ships and flying them to the station to scrap which is super inefficient. Lol, compressed indium scraps are not a good way to make money. Stasis device on the other hand 👌

i got an item that was valued on 250,000,000 at the start i thought it was 250,000 so i just sold it to see that i had 250million i think i got it from a cargo but not tottaly sure
It's kind of lame that you can just turn off crafting in the difficulty settings and create as many of those high value items as you want. Instant capped out billionaire.
This was a pretty worthless video. This video was just click-bait without teaching anyone anything and no actual tips. The items that you get for scrapping ships are when you're already flush with cash and you're farming nanites and you're not going to really receive those specific items unless you're buying and scrapping haulers which is terribly inefficient. Now if you truly want a idea on a video/series of videos to do then make a video on stasis devices and why to choose making them over fusion igniters. Point out that the reason why people prefer stasis devices is three of the items you need also have 2 of the other resources on them meaning you have nine out of the 15 resources needed are on three planets. Planets with Star bulbs always have parraffinium & nitrogen on them. The same is true for the groupings of Frost crystals = dioxite & radon and Solanium = phosphorous & sapphirine. On these three planets they should also have oxygen, carbon, and cobalt so those three items are taken care of. This just leaves three items that you can grow in domes. The gamma root I always grow on a eradiated world where I have a uranium mineral extractor just to make getting gamma root domes up and running easy with the gamma roots requirement of uranium. The faecium and cactus flesh either need to be harvested off their planets or bought from ships landing at space stations or trading posts. They can also be grown on the planets you have already established bases on in the domes. Show them to rename the bases to the resources they are collecting to make warping easy. Instead of getting crazy like other youtubers and making huge claims about earning 4 billion units in one hour which can intimidate a person into thinking this endeavor is hard. Instead go small and only do a setup that makes 5 stasis units that will net your viewers 77 million units every 16 hours that is even friendly for harder game modes like survivor or permadeath with their reduced stack sizes of 250 items per storage slot instead of 9,999 items per storage slot. Point out also that they can always add more extractors, supply storage and growing domes as their storage capability expands when they buy that S class hauler to make the process easier. Point out the benefit of crafting the items as they collect them to reduce storage needs. Show a suggested order in which to collect and craft the items that makes sense. I myself I collect the minerals first crafting as I go then collecting the gases and crafting those items as I go. Then I start with the frost crystals crafting the glass I need then the solanium and craft that to get rid of both the frost crystals and solanium out of my inventory to keep making room. Tell them to find a oxygen pocket on a planet put a couple of extractors on it to get free oxygen so they can use their medium refiners to turn a little cobalt and carbon into lots of ionized cobalt and condensed carbon. Don't discourage your viewers by saying how difficult stasis devices are break it down and show how easy they can be if you have a game plan in place and follow it. Like finding a planet with no or infrequent storms to farm salvaged data to buy all the blueprints. You can always do a video on how to fund this endeavor by Breaking Bad the No Man Sky way with setting up a nip-nip bud farm and just selling those to the intergalactic trade terminal that you place right on the farm so there is no sentinel interference. Sorry for the wall of text but just giving some constructive criticism and a few suggestions of content you can make that I think your viewers will value highly. If you make these videos your followers will rush up those stairs of a S-class freighter that they rescued see that price-tag of 150,000,000 units smile at their 2 billion units and buy it or reply "Sorry it's not in the color or design I'm looking for".
