It was quite an unexpected race and result. Hats off to Oli and KTM for a great performance! Surprised that they didn't black flag Fab racing with unzipped leathers. That was extremely dangerous if he should fall at that moment.

Quartararo didn't deserve the first penalty at all, but instead of getting another 3 second penalty after the race for the race suit situation, he should have been black flagged for this one. That was so dangerous. If he crashed, he could have hurt himself badly. They don't know when to give and what kind of penalties to give.

Zarco riding-style prefer to use v-shape turn, it contra to yamaha rolling-speed turning. v-shape turn need late hardbrake and slowing at middle turn, this is why rider like fabio (or who use rolling-speed) would be forced to slow at middle like that.

The big issue as far as im concerned Isn't even riding with his leathers open . Yes thats dangerous but only to him . The fact that he discarded his chest protector for another rider to crash on , Should get him a 2 race ban . If Rossi can bump another rider , in a racing incident, and get moved to the back of the grid for the following race , then 3 seconds isn't enough

@@unknowns334 He didn’t do it all the way up so it came down during the race. That meant the chest armor wasn’t secured properly and it’s too tricky to zip it up while keeping the chest protector in the right position and he can’t ride with it because it’s digging in to him when he leans.

It must be just 2 options for Fabio : (1) slow down the bike in safe area.... closing the leather...and join the track & go crazy again. The risk : lost many position (2) keep racing....keep fast The risk : black flag....and he lost this race But Dorna give 3rd option....give him 2 x 3 seconds penalty. Oh craps 😃

In this race there is a lot of changing position and tight competition,also Fabio Quartararo get a three second penalty because taking shortcut in turn 1- 2,but in the end this race was won by Miguel Oliveira as his first win and podium, Johann Zarco second,and Jack Miller third, congratulation for the three of you😀👍👍.

State references. I do assume you want safe space racing now because one died... More die in Alaska fishing fleet than racers by a wide margin. Pay is less too. Both are voluntary.

the point of the penalty is to encourage riders to stop if they have safety equipment failures. If he retained 4th place he would have been rewarded for continuing to race...
