@Heath Jaxson No body cares bud. if you need to hack your girls account you need to just split up with her. If you think you have a justifiably reason to do so. I promise you dont. You dont trust her anymore and need to just leave the relationship. Privacy is okay even when you don't think it should be there.
Bro,do more videos like this.I mean videos about cheap stuff. Most of your audience cannot afford dainese and other high end stuff. Now please do a video about budget jackets.Sincerely, big fan.Incase you see this,i love you bro (no homo)
Thanks for including one women's glove. I'd love to see more gear fro women on both the site and reviewed. There's lots of us out riding and the market share needs to come up. That being said, I enjoy what your doing with fortnine.
Love your reviews. They're very informative, professionally made and you have a great presence on screen. Hope you can make a living this this. Keep it up!
I normally stick with MotoDry, i think they do some awesomely "cheaper" gloves with that middle of the ground build and protection and they have a glove for all needs, be it wet, cold or hot. Think i have a pair of Motodry Sprint gloves i tend to use almost all year round other then in the rain, doesn't get overly cold so i save money on having summer gloves all year.
Sooooo... While other glove designers are busy making gloves that protect knuckles, cruiser glove designers are actually REMOVING leather from knuckles. Yikes. That is just dumb, I feel :D
I really liked the design and look of Five Stunt EVO Lite, however I can no longer find it on the market. can you please do updated version of the review?
Gloves are A sore point for me. Sorry I’ve been riding bikes since the early 80s and none of the stuff is new, there are new names for the materials but they had gloves exactly like this with metal and ceramics and nylon slides and padding and everything else and honestly I think most of this is marketing. I think you’re right, buy the generic version because let’s be honest, almost all of these top brown companies have farmed all this crap out to China and they’re selling their name not some super quality magic glove. I’m looking for new gloves now but only because the ones I bought are 30 years old and starting to crack in the leather is breaking down but there’s very little difference other than marketing. A good leather glove and good padding and something to slide on that’s not gonna wear down quickly or what’s really important. If they can make it breathe really well that’s awesome too. I think you’re dead right on this one come I 35 or 50 bucks and you have a glove that’s gonna work for 99% of the people out there. Yeah if you go on 150 and sliding on a track you might want to spend a little more but almost none of their customers are doing that. Lol. I wish they would concentrate more on quality because I read reviews on a lot of these very expensive gloves I see a lot of people complaining that they’re falling apart and it’s not a big deal if you buy a pair of gloves for 20 bucks and have to replace it after a few months but people are paying $150 you’d expect it to last a while. I think that evo50 is a great choice, realistically outside of the motorcycle world is still way overpriced but it’s got all the basics it’s got good protection and they thought about what it was going to be used for and built it correctly, it’s comfortable and if it’s well-built, I don’t see a reason to have something a whole lot better in reality. If you want to spend 500 bucks on something with some sort of rare titanium ceramic coated blah blah blah, then that’s awesome but realistically this is going to be more gloves than most people will ever need and I’m guessing they sell a whole lot more of them? 🤔
Five glove are literally the only gloves that have ever fit me perfectly. I’m on my 6th or 7th set of stunt evo’s, a vented pair for summer and normal pair for winter (Australian winter - 20c)
Milwaukee deconstruction gloves. $25. At home depotski or Amazon ....Every bit as good as overpriced motorcycle gloves. Still have my police issued winter motorcycle mitt gauntlets with woollen inner knitted mitts. Used them for over 30 winters while riding a Harley with a side car. Issued 1975.
I like it. could you do a report on best budget gloves, not limited on price although keeping this in mind? I want great feel but protection is the main reason I wear gloves. thanks!
Scorpion Klaw II. They're $49.99 and they saved my hands from a horrible accident with another car. I left a huge dent and knuckle imprint on their car where my hand "punched" the car
somebody should design a new glove with protection and airways for summer, but with an extra layer than you can add for waterproof + cold season. I can't count how many times i took the summer gloves and ended up with soaked sponges instead of hands at the end of the day...
I know why it looks like a green screen... the light you are using for the initial shot is a bit bright causing a white outline to appear around Ryan. Funny stuff. Beautiful set though
What is the best lower cost cold weather glove out there Ryan. Got lots to spend on many things right now so I cant pony-up to expensive gear right now.
Five Stunt Evo is great value for money, with good feature, though not built to last, bought mine in June, after about 2000kms of riding the materials at the tips of my fingers are starting to wear out.
1) Always enjoy your reviews. Please keep 'em coming :) 2) OMG, for the love of god - having the hardest time finding "the perfect" glove.. i.e. a water-retardant, gel-palmed for anti-vibration, no goofy knuckle-protectors, light-weight, and most-importantly; full gauntlet with velcro strap. I want that full gauntlet to seal out wind over/between glove and jacket cuff, but at the same time overall light weight as I don't need fully insulated [snowmobile-type] gloves for the Spring and Fall riding. This daydream Goldilocks glove continues to elude me..
Thanks for this review... It's been so hard trying to find a shorty glove that does not have the Velcro at the wrists... I think the Icon Anthem Blender is going to be perfect.
I did get my Icon Blender gloves in and I did notice one thing that you mentioned that is different with mine... Mine are touch screen enabled in both the index finger and the thumb.
FYI i bought the Z1R cuz of this video and the velcro strap is already torn. It does keep my hands from sweating to much on a ride and they probably protect better then nothing so theirs that.
I think it's insane how you can't be @ at least 100k subs. Your vids are well made and produced. Keep on doing what you do and you will be more succsesfull in the future. (I know that I suck at english)
I got a wiese daytona full leather short glove for 20 GBP. Kangaroo leather palm, knox sps sliders and hard knuckle protection. SUper comfortable after it breaks in. I cant think of anything which can beat it for substance and value.
U are the best review guy on RU-vid and you are always honest and I like that. I know that u aren't getting paid bc u had some bad things to say about all I them. Keep up the good work and I'm definitely subscribed ow
I'd like to see a review of RS Taichi gloves. I have a couple of pairs and they seem to be very good for the price, but I don't know much about gloves. Do you know anything about them?
But do they offer 2XL?? I need 2XL because my hands are on par with ML Carr and I have long boney fingers like Jack Skellington. I've tried XL but my thumb and index suffer the pressure like a nerd in a high school locker. Plus! I ride "sniper" style with index finger resting on the clutch lever and brake lever at all time. Remember, 2XL hands, I can pull my front brakes with one finger in case of (has happened) emergency. This also causes premature wear on index finger pad.
This has to be one of the best selections of gloves i have seen in a video, great job, my only complaint is these are generally only available in America :(
I got some ixs cube gloves for like 45 bucks on sale. They're gauntlets with leather and textile. Definitely worth a look. I have cancer and my chemotherapy fucks up my hands pretty so I have to be super picky. I really like these gloves and I have a lot of different gloves. Wouldn't mind them in hi viz but I have a white bike so the white works for me.
What do you think of the Joe Rocket Wood bridge or Briton gloves in that $50 price range? (I ask because I really want to like them, but the leather just seems too thin to be effective in a slide.)
Hey ryan, other than the one you mentioned as being a bit bulky for control feel, do you think any of the others would make a decent fall riding glove? Maybe the non perforated Z1R?
you remind me of Bill Harley (according to the discovery Channel recreation). please keep the top shelf reviews and pertinent information coming brotha
You squids need to be wearing long gp gloves... you'll wish you had them if you ever fall off. The ones you are showing will just fall apart immediately.
hi ryan, could you help me distinguish between Z1R 270 and the Z1R 270perforated one? with respect to weather conditions. I mean, at what temperatures would you choose either one?
Really depends how safe you want to be. But I will say that there are a lot of "motorcycle" gloves out there with less leather and armour than some biking gloves I've seen. ~RF9
If you can get Alpinestarst SMX-1 Air for under 50$ (msrp 70$) its a great deal, they are well ventilated and reeally cold in lower temperatures, but very good in like 20+°C
Hi Ryan, I bought a pair of Spanish Garibaldi Defence pro in the L size (10). 8 of my fingers fit perfectly, but my thumbs feel cramped in the gloves and if I extend my thimbs to press the horn, I feel my thumb digging into the edge stitching. Should I go one size up (where there is about 2mm gap between 8 of my fingers while holding on the grips but no gap on the thumbs) or stick with the 10 size? The gloves are a hybrid textile/cow leather spring/summer/fall type (somewhere between a full gauntlet and short wrist)
He said Zed not Z which makes him Canadian(due to lack of foreign accent)but then he says “Hella” which is commonly a NorCal slang soooo im confused but pleasantly surprised. Ok back to the important topic of gloves *clears throat*
