Belacan fried chicken! Wow nice and crispy I love the sound of the crunch when they chopped it! I bet it smell so good w ferment shrimp paste! Nice brown skin
Hey Puri and Sue!! So great to see you guys taking us to this cool spot in George Town Penang! We would LOVE that fried chicken. That's cool they use fermented shrimp paste on chicken. The Duck soup dish... WOW!! So rich in color. They don't mess around with putting this together. The noodle dish was really beautiful too. We can't believe how inexpensive the prices are. Char Koay Kak... so fun to watch them stir fry it all together.
Hey Bears and Butters! Glad you guys enjoyed our little food tour in Georgetown 😄 The food is incredibly delicious and like you said, crazily affordable haha
The noodles look fantastic! Char Koay Kak looks great too! The dessert looks soupy, very refreshing. I gotta come hungry if we go here, so many places to try!
Yay, time to dessert! Love that chinese style dessert soup. There’s also one similar dessert happening very popular right now, called peach gum dessert. Which we are going to make at home very soon haha, just bought the ingredients last weekend.
With all that food... so glad you ended with a dessert. But never seen a dessert like that before. It looked more like a soup. Which makes sense.. since you said it's called 4 Fruit soup LOLOL!! Now the Lor Mee... We want a large bowl of that right now. We can't even imagine the flavor combinations but just looking at it, our mouths are watering! Thanks for taking us with you on this food adventure. Love you guys to the moon and stay safe! :)
The chinese traditional desserts are something like a bittersweet soup which can be eaten hot or cold. It always has some sort of herbal health benefits as well. Thanks for coming with us. Love you guys too! Stay safe!!
We are so intrigued about all the desserts you guys show. They are so different to what we have in mind as a dessert. Those fruit soups are like soooo soooo yummy looking, and since we can't put a flavor to it, it calls our attention so much. Great top 5+1list
🥰 Kimberly Street looks authentic as. The char bee hoon looks perfect 👌 did you ever figure out what that fried stuff was? 🤔😂 omg yam cake that's such a great treat haven't had it in ages! Nice to finish off with some healthy fungal dessert 🍨🤤
Hi Puri and Sue, do try next time at the Loh Mee stall, ask for Loh Cham Thing which literally means Loh mixed with the Prawn Soup (Hokkien Mee). It is also a highly recommended Penang variety of it.
