We’re from Grand Junction. I would also recommend exploring along the River Front Trail. Another good food spot is Rib City. There’s one in Fruita and GJ. Best ice cream is Graff Dairy in GJ. Highline Lake west of Fruita is also a good place to spend the day.
What fun!! I'll have to share this video with my brother-in-law and sister-in-law. They love to travel all over Colorado, South Dakota, and etc. Hope to go out that way again soon.
Hello from Ouray, Colorado!! Thank you very much for this awesome video! My wife is from Grand Junction, so we are somewhat familiar with the items you covered. However, it was 30 years since we've spent a lot of time there. We are considering relocating to the Grand Valley area there; maybe next year. So....thank you very much for highlighting the campground! We have a boondockable travel trailer. But.....this campground looks like a great base camp to stay will we recalibrate our brains on the various places in the valley (specifically the living areas; but also the outdoor play areas, eateries, main shopping, etc).
