Hey man fellow Q50 owner here. (2018 silver sport and 2023 Q50 Redsport). I just wanted to comment on your video and let fellow Q50 owners or people looking to buy one, to be very aware that these cars are easily stolen due to the the fact the sunroof of this vehicle is super unprotected and does not go off when these thief’s climb through the sunroof and they hack your ODB port along with a clone copy of your key fob and they then just drive off with your vehicle. This just happened to me and I had no idea the Q50s were so easy to steal and obviously Infiniti as a company has know since 2021 but they have not fixed the issue yet. They stole my new 23 Q50 redsport that got in January 2024 and luckily it got found on Memorial Day weekend because, it got into an accident. Long story short please fellow Infiniti owners protect your cars with trackers, kill switches, loud alarms, steering wheel locks and anything else you can think off. Also you are allowed to block your VIN number according to the police who were working with me to find my car. They said protect your car by blocking that VIN number so they can’t clone your key fobs and also block your ODB port. I’m planning to get a new Q50 and protecting it heavily this time, but man let me tell you the feeling of losing something you worked hard to pay for is annoying and while insurance helped out a lot Infiniti as company doesn’t care and these thief’s need to lose their hands for touching other peoples property. #Q50sforlife💯💪🏿✊🏿

The Q50 definitely is slept on an the vhr engine has been out since 08-09 but to still have in 2016 with better revised engines that can handle n/a mods an boost that says a lot ppl just talk shit cause it’s a Infiniti

1. Car is slow 2. Q50 engine is same as g37 esrlier model 3. Cant get power out of the 3.7 4.ppl dont believe they are the skyline 5. 3.7 transmissions are bad

Slow? LOL. Not mine. Some people don't believe my 2019 Q50 RS does 180+. Well, it does. Maybe it isn't the conventional engine with a limiter. It beats a lot of cars that are listed as faster.

You can get up to 700whp on the stock 3.7 motor the vr record is like 800whp on stock motor and trans

i definitely think the internals are better in the q than the g 37. i have the 2015 q. all stock juss cosmetics nd i was racing a g37 i think we did a 40 and we went and i was pulling on him nd i was shocked

Which model/trim/package came with those seats?

It's not the engine..it's the transmission that's to slushy off the line

I just bought a Q50 for 3000 off a family member . it’s the 2017 version , the transmission was rebuilt but sometimes when I accelerate it jerks or jumps . what should I do besides spark plugs to eliminate jerk or lag?

Like they said about the g25hr it cut off @150 and it a 6 cylinder with I believe already modified just need the right tune an it just two seconds slower than the g37 but has better top end an I done make a lot of cars stream I raced a g37 an a g35 an won they just take off better but the 2012 an up it beat me by a car or a half
