We stayed at Floridays a few months ago and got a great deal! We are a family of five and this place was such a blessing for our first Disney trip! It was so nice having the full kitchen! I packed all our lunches each night before going to bed and just grabbed it in the morning before heading to the parks. We were able to save so much money! I am so interested in the second resort you talked about! Thank you so much for this information!

We haven't stayed at any of these resorts (always Disney property before), but amenities are fewer and fewer at Disney resorts, and the prices just keep going up, so we're very tempted to try one of these out on our next trip.
It really is the perfect time to try out off-site hotels! 🙌🏼 Because you’re right, with Disney resorts losing so many amenities, it’s tough to justify the cost.
@@BekahHart We've always done Grand Floridian Club Level. Last year we stayed at the Contemporary club level solely because the Grand Floridian had gotten so expensive. We always book when they have a 20% or 25% discount, always stay same time of year. The stay at the Contemporary in 2022 was almost double what the Grand Floridian was in 2019. Same number of guests, February both years. Not to mention that the club level experience is NOTHING like it was back in 2019. We're going this October and checked into the GF again and the cost is simply robbery now. It's absolutely ridiculous. So we're going in October but staying off site...Location TBD.
We own two Club Wyndham timeshares, resale, and I absolutely would stay there in Orlando. I've asked a few DVC owners if the price per night is worth it, vs staying at someplace like Bonnet Creek + whatever they value from the perks and location. They seem to just want to compare the rack rate within DVC. With limited availability for non owners, Disney can overcharge for the remaining rooms, and I think that creates an inflated sense of savings. I don't think everyone is wrong who buys, some of this is just individual and subjective. We primarily use our timeshare for Sedona Film Fest and Hawaii, where the cheapest 3 star hotels start at $300 per night, and we're paying $120 for a resort. You're doing the right thing keeping your options open in Orlando.
When we use to live in NY and had to fly to Disney staying off site wasn’t even an option with kids in car seats. BUT now that we are in LA, the kids are older, and driving is an option…off site hotels are looking pretty good! Thanks for sharing!!
While Pop Century is my favorite onsite hotel, Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek is hands down my most favorite place to stay in Orlando. The location is perfect, and I've always been able to get an amazing price. This past May, I got a 2 bedroom for a total of $850 for 7 nights. Last October I got a 1 bedroom for less than $300 for 5 nights, but they upgraded me to a 2 bedroom. As for transportation, I always drive my car to Orlando, and I've always preferred to drive to the parks anyways. Hugs, Kim
@@kimberlysouverain7191 I booked through Vacation Strategy. Whenever I'm looking for availability, I always get quotes for my dates from both Vacation Upgrades and Vacation Strategy and go with the one that is the cheapest. I've never booked directly with the resort. Hugs, Kim
If i stay club widham bonnet creek and rent a car is parking free at the different parks. Sorry in advance if the question is dumb. I have never been to disney and were planning a family vacation
Prices can vary depending on what time of year you’re looking at, but make sure to check Priceline! I’m looking at all the same prices for January ☺️ With the exception of the JW, prices have absolutely increased for this hotel because it’s so new. Check out the Express deals through Priceline as well!
Can you suggest an onsite/offsite hotel which is pocket friendly and more so is conveniently connected to WDW? We are travelling from India in May, family of 4, the Mrs. and 2 kids (7 & 2 YO) .. much appreciated…
My top budget friendly suggestion is always Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, we were able to snag a 2 bedroom for $90 a night on our last trip! I’ve also heard good things about Wyndham Garden Lake Buena Vista near Disney Springs, but I haven’t personally stayed there. You might also look into the value resorts if you’re wanting something on Disney property that’s budget friendly ☺️
What is your hotel suggestion (around USD 100 ) with efficient shuttle service to the park and with enough restaurants in walking distance. Not indented to rent a car..
My recommendation would be Club Wyndham. You can find a 1 bedroom for under $125 a night, and there are lots of restaurant options at this resort. They also offer a shuttle service to the parks 👍🏼
@@BekahHart for my dates Club wyndham is bit out of budget..trying to choose Hampton in Lake Buena vista / Spring hill suites by Marriot or Holiday inn express & suites. Key requirement is Shuttle to park and breakfast, walking distance to restaurants and shops as I don't want to drive during my vacation..out of these 3 hotels. Which one is more feasible keeping a quality stay..Tks
@@Ta-vq2lz make sure to check 3rd party sites like Priceline and VRBO, prices will be much lower than what’s listed on the website 👍🏼 And I don’t know much about the hotels you’ve mentioned, so I can’t speak to which I would choose. But I’m sure both are great options!
