A couple tips I have... 1) If your carrier has molle on the back, I am a huge fan of running a remote cable for my radio antenna. Antennas run off of line of sight and running my antenna off my back gets the antenna a little higher and doesn't impede the movement of my one arm. 2) I am a huge fan of running my IFAK from a dangler pouch off of my rear plate bag. The catch is that the IFAK has to have an ambi draw mechanism like the new Agilite med pouch or the Ferro Concepts Roll med pouch. It is still very accessible but out of the way and I find it adds lumbar support while sitting.

This has nothing to do with you professionals, but as a civilian that enjoys the modern martial art and getting out in the boonies with buddies for training, "keep it one layer" is some of the only advice I 100% know I can give somebody just getting set up. Lots of folks want to load up with stuff that will be moved the next time they use their kit, and would be absolutely horrible in hot situations. Spreading things around so you're somewhat slick and can get as low as possible really beats getting hung up on every snaggy obstacle (and equipment etc) and most importantly hitting the dirt only to lay on top of a pile of gear. Buddy pack strategy is my other favorite. Especially with small attached packs that hold your bladder and some goodies - everybody in your squad should have a somewhat uniform set of items in there. A couple spare mags, an extra loose dressing, energy gel, light sticks, little spare battery holder - whatever it is, there should be a compact assortment of stuff everyone will need. Team contract settles what it is and where it goes. Man I'm grateful I'll never actually have to use this stuff - I'm bad at it, but it's challenging and compelling.

Been wearing kit since 06. My biggest thing I noticed about new operators is too much gear. They want to wear a ton of cool stuff but quickly become too heavy. Be fast and light. Let your training dictate movement and control your battle spaces.

The smoke pouch is a good looking bit of kit. I like that its elasticated so could be unitised for other uses if needs be.

Minor gripe, I wish the K19 had the number sizing system on its straps too, I think that should be a standard for all PCs imo. And if u make the grenade pouch I hope it can fit either smoke or flashbangers 👍

From my point of view, if I should choose one item that is not already in the Agilite production list, that should be a collapsible dump pouch. As a mention, with this new item, my Magnetix belt will be complete. Everyone Shout Levi, on these tips and tricks… very informative. I would like to add one tip, if your carrying heavy plates or a lot of added weight make sure carrier is properly secured and tightly secured but not so tight you can’t breathe this will reduce the tension on your shoulders during hard use.

If you get QD cummerbund and need another pouch for some reason (I hate that on CIRAS.) Just use inner pouches with velcro to get addtional pouches bothj sides always cuz its on front pc and use QD on both sides.

Defense mechanisms make great cummerbunds that solve the problem of the loss of molle. I use them with my K19 and it’s great ! Agilite should take a look at it for their next Cummerbund 😀 (Also Shaw concepts use the same system but with a different rear attachment system)

would that smoke grenade pouch hold a NFDD? Either way, I think that would be a great product. I'm no longer in the military but do serve on a SWAT team and being able to find a good pouch that can hold NFDDs or hand toss chems (which come in different sizes) is a little hard to come by.

I improvised a similar smoke grenade hanger for my K19, in Gaza as well. I would suggest that you add an elastic band on top, so it wont slip out from a hit/bump on the bottom. The elastic band can be mpved easily and take the grenade out. Usuallywith smoke grenadesyou have that extra 1 sec to do so (vs frag). If you do use this hack, maybe kit my team with them ;)

Smoke holder initiated...i say yes. maybe two styles. one without flap. think urban/cqb. one with flap, think airborne/amphib ops. drain hole or slot bottom. snap or buckle fasteners. small web loop for dummy cording item not of pyrotechnic design close to opening.

you guys should design a plate carrier backpack that has a QD so that you can get to it with out taking off the vest but also a easy way to put it back on with out taking it off, similar to your battle belt design
