Deni can be at least third or four option in a good team. The problem he is in this position in a bad team (no defence, inefficient offense with two players that like to possess the ball). I believe Deni even might be a second option in a good team, but he needs a push from the GM and coaches. The Wizards need to commit to full rebuild, meaning give him full support as first team option next season (and Bilal and the new draft pick as second and third option. They need trades, press statements and strong defence culture), because he won't take it by himself (and Bilal has the same attitude). Kuz probably will be in a trade because he has value, but i will send Poole too (he can be a damage) even for other bad contracts (Poole and Shamet for Ben Simmons for example. Simmons probably will be a waste of money but that's ok in a rebuilding team).

Very solid list Tas 👍👍 I would've had alot of the same names. Some deeper cuts who would be cheaper and i would like to see a playoff team take a shot on are Jalen McDaniels (actually thought he was solid in limited minutes for the Sixers in 2023), Chris Boucher, and Kris Dunn. Id also like to see Markkanen and Jerami Grant in the playoffs although they are probably too good for this kind of list. Guys like Nic Claxton, Tari Eason, Vince Williams Jr and Corey Kispert are probably too young for this list but could be making a big impact in the playoffs as soon as next year.

I guess he never got his shot down well enough. He seemed to be that type of defensive minded guy you were talking about….but I guess he’s too much of a liability on offense?

I loved Gary Trent Jr in Portland. Blazers picked Simons in the first round and Trent wasn't expected to play at all as a second-rounder. He played with more energy than anyone on the team and was an essential rotation piece by playoff time. Then we randomly trade him so we could start Norm Powell at SF and you know how it goes from there...🥲
