Hope you enjoy and once you've watched the video, tell me your Top 5 Players you're looking out for this preseason!
1 - Nkunku (this hopefully would be his first official season) 2 - Gusto ( cause I know Reece would definitely be injured) 3 - Palmer (the star boy) 4 - Romeo Lavia (I love him too too much) 5 - Caicedo and Enzo partnership, I expect better from them.
@BlueLionsTVNiiNiiFC I like Maresca's energy in training sessions so far. It's what a young team needs. NiiNii, hope you stay off the injury list this summer and don't get another back-attack.💪🏾

Appointing Enzo Maresca by Chelsea board is the smartest thing they have ever done, because he's the charisma those boys needed to shock the world 🌎, Chelsea Wil start heading the all news headlines World wide.
My point of view on the 5 players to impress us during preseason 1. Sterling. I strongly believe the Maresca style of play will suite him 2. Fofana 3 KDH 4. Lavia 5. Veiga
Yeah I agree, I think he understands that he really needs to be more involved in the game which means he’ll need to be asking for the ball more, more agressive pressing, more takeons in 1v1, and overall better team play. That’s the reason he joined the team from day 1, I think he believes Maresca will help him become the best version of himself. Lets goooo
To be honest, im excited to see how the entire squad, especially with our recovered players, will play going forward... Cant wait for the games to start.. LETS GO BLUES...!!!!.
I also think that our Ukrainian winger will come to age next season because of his really bad game in the Euros where he finally came to earth and realised that he was not a star he thought he was. That will make him change his approach and instead of playing a lonely game, he will play with others. Watch out he is a dark horse this coming season. My opinion.
I have low expectations with players with long injuries (wes lavia reece chilli nkunku) cause i just want them to stay fit thats it , if so performance is sure to come they are class . My top 6 players to look are enzo , sterling , jackson , KDH , levi , noni
The new kit looks amazing! Great promo and the design is flashy and the colour is vibrant. I still want Air Jordan to be the next designer, but well done Nike. I love it!
1)Sterling ( still the best in 1v1 in that squad) 2)Noni 3)Lavia 4)Jackson 5)KDH If Nkunku, James, can play 25 league games, then no doubt, we're getting the top 4
Sterling will be the most improved player as enzo likes a cutback esque style of attack similar to pep. Thats where we saw sterling at his best. No one realizes how important sterling is to the england national team but i truly believe he was the missing piece on the left wing in the euro squad
My personal 5 : Fofana - Should be our best CB he he stays fit and the injuries hopefully didn't kill him. Tosin - Got a starter aura, can't wait to see if it translates on the pitch. Sterling - Want to see him show why he's a senior player on big wages Lavia - Just excited to discover him in a Chelsea shirt Mudryk - I lost faith in him but curious to see if he can prove me wrong
It’s funny due to Lavia, Nkunku, Reece, Fofana, Colwill and Chillwell being constantly injured neither make it in to my start of season line up. Probably out of disappointment. I want to see continuity in the team to help excel the process of learning the systematic style of Maresca play. To be honest, the starting line up without these guys still looks extremely good. Hopefully new goal keeper Gusto Tosin Badi Cucurella Enzo Palmer Caicedo Noni Jackson Williams🤞 Sterling and Mudryk have basically failed in my mind. But let’s see, I am still open to a more systematic style of play helping them to discover something. Badi is probably the controversial guy here. I agree, but I see his ceiling so high. He has to learn to start blocking shots with slide tackles. He had a massive dip in form after he gave away a penalty, but came good at the end of the season. He has that calmness and physical attribute. Imagine the height of Tosin and Badi. Tosin outside his ability just seems like that leader this team needs.
Disastrous isn't the word, murder is. To have KDH & Palmer in the two 10s is murder bro especially against team that plays low block. Against big team, I'd prefer Caseido & KDH in the 10 roles with Enzo behind them while Palmer is shifted to the wing
I don't think I'm going to care too much about this pre season. I've learned my lesson when Poch went unbeaten in it last year and it resulted to absolutely nothing.
People keep giving James a hard time over the red card, but one has to understand that he had just got over multiple injuries and it was obvious that they were going after him to see if the knee would stand. Yes as Captain he must maintain control as an example and it will tax the team at the start of the season. But he felt they were going after his career, unfortunately they going to keep on doing it to test the injury or have him lose his temper.
Just want to throw in that Palmer had a goal contribution every 80 minutes or so in the Prem for us. KDH had one every 140 minutes or so for Leicester in the Championship. I think he's a good player but I also have to say that sacrificing Palmer's ability to function in order to cater to KDH feels like a poor tradeoff. You mentioned Maresca's approach of switching play to isolate wingers in order to get 1v1's. Is that what Palmer does best? Is he even the best option for that on the right? It's how Leicester played, it's what worked for Leicester given their players and their opposition. But they didn't have a Cole Palmer. They didn't have a Reece James. They didn't have a Malo Gusto. They didn't have an Nkunku either. For me, the biggest thing to keep an eye on in preseason is not really all the new (or "like new") people, it's how Maresca uses our right back and how he gets the most production out of our primary attackers. He has so many more options to tinker with now that he didn't have at Leicester and if he ends up not using them then I'm sorry, I know you like good vibes, but personally I'll be just a little disappointed.
@@Dilllll26 Yes, I am. Because that "box to box 8" was for all intents and purposes playing as a number 10. That's why Leicester had Ndidi next to him and Winks behind him. They both had positionally more rigid roles whereas KDH had the freedom to drift around. And you might also want to compare the defensive stats of Palmer and KDH. They're not wildly different, are they? KDH has a definite edge but not a huge one. As for penalties, Palmer had 9 in the Prem. KDH had one in the Championship. Take pens out, Palmer is at 24 goal contributions in the Prem in 2600 minutes and KDH is at 25 in 3600 in the Championship. Which still takes us right back to the original question. If it is a question of making one of them comfortable and productive, which one do you choose?
