By far you guys have the best scouting sessions I have seen on RU-vid. Your break downs and layouts of how you're choosing to setup and your understanding of deer behavior and best winds to choose to hunt that specific deer. you guys break it all down in a way that everyone can relate to. Isaiah Sattelmaier In my opinion this is the most informative bowhunting teaching series I have watched for hill country. In the series next spring, it would be interesting to see what Jake Bush would do if he only had one trail camera to use to target a specific buck. Once he knows that the buck is in fact Inhabiting the suspected area, Where is he placing this one camera to gain the most Intel that is useful towards killing that deer on the first sit.
Wendell Stoltzfus….Awsome content guys this is great info for anyone trying to kill mature buck on public land! A suggestion for next years In Session would be for Jake Bush and Dan Infult from The Hunting Beast to meet up and do some scouting on new ground that none of them have been on. And basically just brake it down from finding a new piece of public land to finding a perfect setup and kill tree.
Barrett Negus. River Bottom scouting preferably southeast (delta) if you can find someone. AR, MS, LA Love the work you guys are doing. Keep up the hard work. Maybe follow up on some of these cameras postseason or if any of these in session scouting trips paid off.
Dwight here, a cool show would be to do an overview of thermals and how they influence set ups. I know it is briefly talked about in multiple shows but to actually see example maps with topography and how the thermals would react during times of day would be great. Us guys from the flat lands down south can get lost when we come up to the hills for out of state hunts.

GREAT CONTENT! The visual portion is vital for me. As a suggestion, how about a deep dive into all things hubs. Thermal hubs, travel hubs, hub scrapes, ETC. Is there such a thing as a hub rub? If not there should be just because its fun to say: Hub Rub...
Nate Bennett. Love In Session but some of it looks to be done in hindsight on properties you know or have hunted in the past and understand. Just an idea, but would like to see it done in a format to show a brand new property and how you break it down during spring, then show the hunt in the fall to prove your theories were correct or if something changed, what was done to adapt. Successful or not. Would also like to see you explain more about thermals and how they function in different terrains not just hill country. Keep the wealth of knowledge spilling into the hunting community. Soaking it up here. Appreciate it. 🤯

Jeremy Wills. I’d like to see when multiple topography features are in an area, how that influence tactics. Ex: A mix of hill country and farmland (not 100% hill country and not 100% flat farmland, but a mix of both, influencing hunting strategy so you have to blend the two thought processes for an overall hunting strategy)
Dylan King, come back to NJ and do some bigger (for NJ) pieces with little elevation change and lots of oaks. Maybe even a PIne Barrens scouting episode.
Kirk Loos. I would really like to see a video explaining the topo map and how you guys read them and what you are looking for with some examples. A lot of people glance over it but without going into detail.

Guy's thanks for the whitetail hunting tips i just started watching Latitude Outdoors and like the ways you walkabout in the wood's and explain with map drawings as you talk. Something i would like you to make a walk through the woods video on is the reasons a buck rubs his antlers from the time he removes his velvet to the time he sheds his antlers i see rubs from year to year but don't know the reasons for why and when they were done ? Im trying to get all the right stuff together so i can saddle hunt this year the old Summit climbing tree stand is to awkward and heavy now that i'm 64 Thanks Marty

Chango Pearce, I live in mid western PA. We have a lot of rolling hill country here. You guy point out alot of great stuff to help guys out. Most definitely help me out!! Would love to see scouting for deer that made it through the season to finding him and patering him for the next season.
Chad Smith. I speed scout large areas to find as many escape routes a buck will likely take to get away from people. Then I look for areas where those routes cross each other. It gives me more chances at different bucks without so much worry of blowing a mature buck out of his core area with one or two mistakes.
Marcus Russell here! I think a good video for next spring would be some more detailed information on how to know thermal winds and how to remain scentless while hunting those situations.

Matt Grieger. I’d like to see some tips on how to pinpoint spots that mature bucks prefer. I hunt public land. Mostly small parcels. I have yet to see a mature buck during the hunting season. What spots should I be looking for to locate mature bucks over young bucks

Richard Cummings These videos gave me the visual by using maps. I spend lots of time staring at maps and theses sessions confirmed what I was listening to on podcasts. I love Beau Martonik and the East meets West podcast. I really appreciate you showing the map and labeling what you’re finding. I find these very similar landmarks when I scout and it’s nice to see someone put the puzzle together for me. I need to see/learn more about my access to the tree. Last season taught me the value of patience, high wind, or rain helping with access. Thanks a ton Jake! Love the content.
Katie, PA. I've really been enjoying the podcast and the videos for the visual aspect. I hunt the Allegheny National Forest and in my particular area it is all big woods without any ag. A lot of the areas are fairly flat on the plateau with slight elevation changes and no oak trees. I'd love to see some videos on similar areas. Thanks for all the great content ya'll are putting out!

Matt M, most of this is finding the scrape and showing that, but then a guy mentioned the tree I picked is over there and it’s an after thought for the video. Do a video on that as part of it which tree and why
Levi Prater, This by far has been the best scouting and terrain feature video that I have found on RU-vid. Next year I would like to see this same style content but in terrain from the south east, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, for reference. It is nice to see how the bucks move in the hilly terrain but for sure is different here in the south with flat and a monoculture of pine trees. Thank you for the awesome video and the knowledge from the guys you vided with.
Love what you guys do! I live in Florida and hunt Southern Illinois and seen to land where it’s flatter. I would love to learn how to find bedding areas using maps in these areas.

Dylan . I’m a visual learner so thanks for adding topography maps to the video. I hunt in the mountains and I would like to see a in-depth breakdown of wind mapping for mountain buck hubs. Safe plays to be able to hunt a hub more than once. When do you get out , when do you stay, how and when to access in the morning. Leave when the thermal pulls up if you access from bottom , wait until the thermal pulls up at grey light then access? I know it’s all situational but it might help people if we get that visual description under different circumstances. ( Do deer run circuits? I have always been told if you see a buck today he won’t be back until he walks his circuit which could be days ).
Joe Bartol, VA. Would like to see videos on hunting relatively flat land timber stands like in Eastern, Va. There is a good mix of agg and woods here with river systems connected but everything is super flat for the most part. There really aren’t super good terrain features to key in on and I would be looking to see what kind of tips and tricks someone might have for very flat, but wooded areas.

Southern hunting tactics if we don’t have the big woods like you guys. I’m out of Tx and Ok mostly with not much rolling hills. I have a hard time finding bedding and food sources.
