His rarest pokemon is definitly Pikachu. It's the only electrik type Pokemon in the UNIVERSE able to use an electrik attack against a ground type and win the fight.
Pretty sure Pokémon can know more than 4 moves, but trainers only bother to remember the best ones. Electro Ball is based on speed, and Pikachu is constantly outsped, Ember is outclassed by Fire Blast and Pyro Ball, etc.
Ok, I had no idea Melmetal was that rare😂 Also thanks for calculating the chances of Rockruff evolving into dusk form Lycanroc, I don't understand anything except it's really rare🤣🤣🤣
I’m going with his Snorlax, using all those abilities in that battle without leveling up. Or his Pikachu, that boy has to be over lv 100 by now with an unbelievable amount of fight experience but he still keep rolling in the L’s.
@@rafeez6192 no matts video completely ignored level resets because the evidence proved it didn't actually happen despite the belief. hes around level 62 iirc
Honourable mentions go to Dracovish and Pikachu! Dracovish is a brand new fossil amalgamation, but based on how the researchers just freely gave it to Ash for no reason, I'm assuming it can't be that rare haha. And Ash's Pikachu can Gigantamax without a Dynamax Band & without returning to its Poke Ball - so that's crazy rare too!
No wonder ash’s Alola team caused him to win, they were all rare to find in the wild, two starters, an ultra beast, a special form of lycanroc and a mythical Pokémon.
@@Voltagereacts Also I never called pikachu a starter, I was referring to Rowlet and incineroar, who are both starters that were caught in the wild, especiallly since Kukui is the first professor in the anime to not give out starters.
There was a third pokemon that had the bond phenomenon and that was AZ's Floette in the X Y games. It's shown in a post credit sequence and this was before it was introduced in XYZ anime but it's been confirmed both Ash's Greninja and AZ's Floette have the same trust in their trainers that they can unlock the bond phenomenon.
@@baneofthewilds5702 um because his opponent doesn't have plot armor? I mean every time he got solid team, writer would dropped an opponent with plot armor lmao
@@baneofthewilds5702 He only won because Pokemon company was trying to get the popularity again, as Sun and moon was receiving so much hate due to sudden decrease in almost everything after Pokemon Xyz.
The part about the shiny Pokemon, all involved with Pokémon gave us a taunting gesture with the two shiny Guzzlord at the same time in the anime. And Ash’s Noctowl is rare not only because it is shiny, but it is smaller than average. Noctowl average 5’11”
The most important fact. Is that ash never abuses them for his own gain. The only reason he has these kinds of pokemon is because he never used them for his own personal gain. His pokemon love him and he loves them too.
Ash's Pikachu is the rarest Pokemon in existence. Reason: It is only pokemon owned by a trainer we ever see who can Gigantamax without returning to their Pokeball (Not compared to wild). And. It is only Pikachu who can use 10 million volt thunderbolt.
I've looked at other comments and nobody else is really looking at how powerful his Pikachu is only the select few I see mention a few feats but it clearly stronger than any other Pikachu and even bested the evolved form
That mega charizard is the strongest charizard we've ever seen it literally can go toe to toe with the legendary weather trio(primal kyogre, primal groudon and mega rayquaza)
i really enjoyed the video! Though i would like to share some thoughts on the meltan subject, i seem to remember oak explaining when the meltan merged into melmetal that there were some ancient civilization or something that had described and scripted down melmetal since before, so i believe people have had melmetal as guardians in ancient times. I sound like a huge pokemon nerd right now but i really didn't have anything better to do in my spare time so i watched through the entire anime a while ago to start keeping up with the newer series since i really like the anime.
Oh you might be right! You have awesome memory to remember that! I guess it may not have been as rare in ancient times, but in the modern times, it’s definitely super super rare :D
Wow I really wanted a video like this thanks! Ash is really lucky to have some of the most special and rarest pokemons and I loved your list! Also good job calculating the chances of a rockruff becoming dusk lycanrock haha, but I think ash's pikachu is also rare and one of a kind haha anyways loved this video looking for more!:)
Ash's Alola team is just op tbh- If any of you guys think that the bond phenomenon is mega evolution, no, it may be related and looks like it, but no. The bond phenomenon will only happen between the Pokemon and the trainer. If they both trust each other more than normally, there could be a chance that the Pokemon and trainer can do the bond phenomenon. That's just my theory tho Plus, Greninja doesn't HAVE a mega evolution in the first place.
Mega Evolution also requires a strong bond, at least in game lore. There are no mechanics to support this, though. However, the difference is that the Bond Phenomenon is related to individuals of Pokemon, whereas Mega Evolution is related to species of Pokemon.
This is my listing: 1. Dusk Form Liken rock (only one in existence) 2. Ash's Greninja (only 2 in existence) 3. Nagonado ( in the series we see a ton of the pre evolution of it so it isn't as special as the others) 4. Melmetal ( we have seen others in different series, so not so rare) 5. Shiny Noctowl ( There are a lot of shiny Pokemon, but there are still Pokemon even rarer)
1: snorlax (it had 6 moves) 2: malmetal/meltan (I count both has 1 because malmetal in the show is basically just a giant meltan and it’s the rarest causes it’s 1 of a kind) 3: ash grenjnja (it’s not 1 or 2 because there was one before but it was also rare) 4: nagnalda/poipole (it’s it’s evolved form so it’s together and because it’s almost impossible to get with out an ultra worm hole) 5: his shiny
Ash's rarest pokemon is Pikachu. According to Takeshi Shudo's Anime Novelization Pikachu can be one of the last members of its species. In novelization Brock read a very old book about pokemon and he learned Pikachu is a very rare pokemon and it is very difficult to see in the wild. It is a big surprise for Brock because Pikachu is not rare and easy to find in nature. Than Brock started to doubt about orijins of Ash's Pikachu and ordinary Pikachu. Ordinary Pikachu are easy to domesticate, weak in battles, they are calm and royal to owner. Ash's Pikachu is vey strong, hates pokeball, likes Ash but he doesn't listen him and behave as Ash's friend not like his pokemon. It seems Pikachu is smarter than Ash too. Here is Brock's theory. Before there were creatures that are called dogs and before them there were wolfes. Human domasticated wolfes and they evolved into dogs. Dogs can turn back nature but cannot become wolfes again. They are stray dogs. As the relation between dogs and wolfes. Human captured wild Pikachu and domasticated them. Pikachu evolved into ordinary Pikachu. Some of them left or run away to nature again. However they couldn't become orijinal wild Pikachu. On the other hand Ash's Pikachu is totally different. So, he can be a "mythical wild Pikachu". And don't forget Ash's Pikachu is the only Pikachu who can perform legendary 10.000.000 Volt attack.
I don’t buy that, Pikachu pretty common in the anime. We literally seen hordes of pikachu in the anime. The reason Pikachu can use 10million volt thunderbolt is because of its strong bond with ash. It literally called the Pika-Ashium Z.
Amazing and interesting topic you got there pokeferlax! I really liked that you put some mathmathical background In the back while talking about it 😆. So, according to this ash's rare pokemon are from alola. Ash got so many great pokemon in alola and now also in journeys too. Really looking forward at more great and rare pokemon for Ash. 😅😃
I think there are more pokemon that have the bond phenomenon (total of 4) in the Ninja Village episode, there's the Greninja on the scroll, but next to it on the left, there's a Heatmor and on the right there's a Staraptor (in the episode [xyz ep 6] at around 14:10 you can see the three scrolls, at 14:15 it shows the Battle Bond Staraptor and at 14:17 shows Greninja, then it shows Battle Bond Heatmor at around 14:19) not entirely sure but Ippei mentions that their village was defended by pokemon at the time ninja were battling, Greninja being the leader (likely implying that Heatmor and Staraptor were also two notable Pokemon within that time that appear to have achieved the Bond Phenomenon, they could just be drawn in a different art as just regular Heatmor/Staraptor though)
Yo WTF what about Ash’s Snorlax being able to use six moves!!! Snorlax used six moves (Protect, Headbutt, Hyper Beam, Ice Punch, Rest, and Body Slam) ALL IN ONE BATTLE!!!!
Everything befor gen 3 is fake Geb 3 and up things were worked on tyoing the special atk and atk split and pokemon can now only use 4 moves befor that pokemon didnt knownwhat the fuck it was
Professor Oak said in the Anime that he read a book about meltan and melmetal, and as soon as meltan evolved professor oak called it melmetal then ash said, "melmetal?". then professor oak says that he read in a book about melmetal that means there were meltan which existed long ago and melmetal but at present this meltan grp is the only one. so i think greninja and melmetal should be tied.
@@420AlucardMr because in the anime I don’t remember seeing any pokemon with a blaze as powerful as ash’s infernape, do u think Paul’s bad treatment of it meant that it’s blaze was extremely more powerful with ash as it has so much rage
@@TheHeskeyKid Yes Chardizard has Blaze and ofc Infernape blaze looked stronger its because its anime plus Ash a protagonist so they will glorify his pokemon like since greninja gets his own mega evolve and apparently pikachu's thunder can hurt rock types (rhydon) If ya remember that battle lol so there are two logics we could go by here Pokemon Anime logic or Pokemon Game logic
Probably bulbasaur, charizard, bayleef, quilava, totodile, sceptile, torterra, infernape, oshawott, pignite, snivy, rowlet, incineroar and greninja cause you could only get them once and can’t catch them in the wild.
77 over 20 years??? Sort of sounds like me playing the games lol, I catch what I want to use and that's really it. Pokemon sword and shield changed that because you know, it's super easy to get anything
Just to make it clear to most people who think solgaleo should be in this list, he didn't catch solgaleo, this list counts on the mons he officially captured
Not that I am worried or anything but I was just curious when the next episodes of to Galar together or the masked daughter are going to come out? I know that you’re busy working on them and with other things but I can’t wait to see what happens next time with either one of them
Ash's pikachu is the rarest one of all! It's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo rare to find a pikachu that dosen't evolve even like years later.🤩
Add Lucario on that list. But it will definitely be lower than Greninja. Not just because of lower strength than Greninja. But also, according to Olympia's prediction of Greninja reaching new heights no Pokémon has ever reached with Ash. So, far since they are separated this may not happen but it should happen and once they reach it will mean that Ash's Greninja will be the strongest Pokémon therefore the rarest Pokémon.
Bro make a theory video on What happens to coordinater after winning Grand Festival (After becoming top coordinater) I mean, are top coordinater eligible to participate in normal contests and region grand festival ?
its ash 's noctowel because its shiny and not only that its a lot smaller than regular and it is super intelegent as it trick ash and friends and even a sientist . If u say greenninja is rarer , well there was already someon who own that kind of greenninja in the ninja village as the story said and there is no one who ever got an intelegent knoctowel and shiny and smaller than usuall , i mean all of those 3 phenomenon needs to happen and not only that it is very hard to catch as its intellegent and always confused people with illusion
Ash, really iratated me, i know it was the writers who made it this way to have so many seasons. But ash would have been champion well before now if he kepted all his best pokemon, like leaving charazard behind, gragonite, or infornape, lucario, greniga in his team would have picked his very first team from season 1 but I'd would have liked him to involved bulbasaur and squirtle.
Ashes rarest Pokémon is his pikachu , he literally knows every electric move and others from Other Pokémon. I believe currently he knows 16 and changes through then through the shows . He also doesn’t have a poke ball and has beat many elite Pokémon by himself .
So um..this just came up randomly in my mind..so does ash still sometimes feels greninja pain?Since they still have a tight bond that ima assume, so if greninja gets slapped or something does ash feel that?XD just ash talking then out of nowhere ash just holds his stomach tightly then coughing a little.Edit:Since in the xyz it showed that ash can feel greninja pain when he battle.
I wouldnt be surprised if he still does, he may not show it in the pokemon anime anymore but maybe thats due to the distance, the fact AshGreninja is probably not fighting too much and just that Ash has gotten used to small random jabs of pain
I think that the trainer who participate in the battle need to write on a paper the name and moveset of their pokemon, give it to the staff of the league and the commentator now know what to say when there is a pokemon on the field or a special move
