Hi Paul Some great tips. Our storage site is a COSSA Gold site about 50 minutes drive from home but we do have an indoor space and a good price at £35 per month. We are on a waiting list for another COSSA site which is 3 miles from home we are 10th on the waiting list. This new site will so much easier for us to check on the caravan we can get on but its slightly more expensive.
Thanks for the post Mark. The thing is if it's more expensive but closer probably save most the money in fuel and obiously very precious time. Ours doesn't have any Cossa rating at all but it's high security and wouldn't want to mess with owner and his friends. 😀
Thanks for the comment. Glad you agree. I was wondering if anyone else had anything different. So third storage site is meeting the criteria for us at present and have no plans to leave.
@@RollingwithTheRobsons our storage is up the road from us. And it's cctv electric gate and monitored. And we pay £44 per month which I think is a great price and so convenient
We are stored elsewhere in the immediate area and considering this storage site as access is much better in terms of days and times. Any negatives so far.?
The road inside storage to the pitches is poor. The laid some tarmac but didn't smooth it so that is a right pain. Wish they would sort. Other negative is sometimes they have vehicles near entrance and can make it tricker than it needs to be to get in and out of gate with van on. Only other negative is because it's busier again can make it harder to get in and out.
Thanks for the comment. The only niggle is they laid some tarmac but it's as flat as the rockies getting in and out. Should have been great. THat is my only bug bear at present.
