True car enthusiasts never talk down about another persons personal preference of customization! A true car enthusiast loves all trims of any car and also knows the history behind them without being conceded about their top of the line trim model. You got the money, get it. Not everyone has that option or the same opportunities. Dope WRX bro looks amazing. My GTO is still under a 3rd party warranty and I have been only doing cosmetic upgrades rather than performance until my warranty is up then I’ll buy performance so I already have the look I want when I get the performance because that’s the smartest thing to do for me with the annual gross I have.

Yeah i don't think a WRX with a STI wing is a big deal. But as an EVO owner, it pisses me off when a lancer has an EVO wing.. Like there is absolutely nothing sporty about the lancer... At least the WRX is still a bad ass car
What people don't understand is that the wrx is a better daily driver than the wrx sti. As most performance cars the sti sacrifices practicality and to be honest isn't that much faster. The premium wrx offers more bang for your buck at the end of the day
My STI is my daily drive. It’s practicality is head over heels than driving my old LX Lancer. Perspective. Wrx are just as nice too, I’m getting old a bit and like the mod cons in my V1 ‘17 STI
I second this... everyone has different taste. I personally love the quad exhaust on the WRX, but if you like the single exit then by all means go for it!

I have an 06 sti and I like the wingless look on mine, if you wanna put a spoiler on yours then do it. People who complain about a wrx with a sti spoiler are just dumb. His car, his choice .

So many people hate Honda's but I don't get it. When they have been in the racing scene just as long as other cars. And if you are on RU-vid 20hrs a day like me you see alot of Honda's people love enough to soup. Smashing lambos and Audi's and you name it.

You're subaru wrx is amazing! I have a subaru brz tS and people loathe it. The wrx and brz are my top 2 cars so let them hate ^^ I agree on the wing, it fits well with the curves on the wrx.

They look like 2014 Toyota Camry's lol. 2015+ model wrx's look plain and sedan-ish. 02-03 Bugeye and 06-07 Hawkeye are the best looking ones in my opinion.
I totally agree with you on the wing, it just looks so good with the body style whether it be on a WRX or on a WRX STI. I don't like how some people seem to instantly think that if you have a STI wing on a WRX you're trying to pose as a STI owner.
I dont hate your car by any means because its absolutely gorgeous but the fact that your front bumper emblem doesn't match the rear emblem (subaru star emblem) drives me crazy lol.

Brendan Fogel the STI has a much better transmission and higher ceiling for power, better brakes, and better suspension. But for 10k just for me wasn’t worth it

Man as another WRX owner of 2 other them 07 and 11 I can tell you your car is amazing. I hate the wing BS. It's just a wing. All the other points you made are peoples following the crowd and are jealous to be honest. The one thing though is I do not like the F20A motors the new WRX have. The ej20 are great motors they had in the WRXs before they started the ej255 in 06-14 in the wrx, which I have and are great. But nice video!

I have a 15 sti, with the wing, personally for me the wing makes the car, when you see that wing, I think “that’s an sti.” Won’t catch me talkin smack about it though, beautiful car brotha I wouldn’t have it any other way, it’s clean, and tasteful. And I feel you on the warranty, I rode my out to the full 100k.
Just watched the video a second time and I am subbing for three reasons: 1) I agree with everything you did to the car. The pipes are the only thing I'm unsure of but as I have not heard the car I can't say I am for or against it. 2) Love Subaru's and Chevy's. 3) Initial D logo. Nuff said.

You are hanging around the wrong (Subaru) people. Don't bunch all STi owners into the same group. I drive an STi and my buddy has a WRX with the STi wing. We have been to plenty of meets and not heard any of what you are talking about within the Subaru community. You have a cool car, any car enthusiast should be able to respect that even if they don't like it. Keep modding and enjoy the car.
I happen to like your overall look, it's pretty badass, and the color is dope. My one and only gripe about it isn't the fact that it's a single exit exhaust, those are totally fine and have their unique attributes, but if it's a single exit it has to look that way reflected in the diffuser or the bumper kit. I don't like seeing that empty port on the passenger side where another exhaust could have been. If it's a single exhaust, have that reflected in the design of the kit and it cleans up the rear end to focus that look a lot better than just having the empty hole on the passenger side. But seriously, awesome spec overall!

My wife and I just bought a brand new 2019 Subaru WRX STI Limited in the Philippines. Disappointed, ours didn't come with a spoiler. Both, the WRX and the WRX STI are related. I couldn't care if I saw a WRX with an STI spoiler. We parked right next to a WRX owner in the Philippines being proud with respect.
@@ChristianHudnell ya im running 550whp on a stock block and honestly with 10k miles on the stock engine its just fine. I dont do burnouts and drag race it. Only rolling starts and it holds up fine.
1) I just wanted a car to teach my son to drive a manual, so I went with a WRX. I may buy an STI later 2) I'm not a fan of the STI wing and perfer a more low key look...I would pull it off an STI. 3) Meh, if I'm not making teh payments, I could careless what someone does to their rides. I will say I like seeing different things people do to them. 4) I thought about the warranty...for about 10 minutes, long enough to order my Stage 2 stuff and setup an appointment to have it installed lol 5) I prefer dual exhaust and or dual tips but single doesn't bother me either.
I'm a Subaru owner and I own almost every car that Subaru has made.. I own a few STI's & WRX's and it doesn't matter what people say about any Subaru it's what we worked for. If they don't like our Subaru that's their problem. It doesn't matter what you do to your Subaru it's yours.

The funniest part about STI owners acting like douches about the wing. If you go to the actual STI Japan website, the spoiler is listed as an option for BOTH the WRX and the STI. Since 2012 the so many people popped the EJ25 motor before 30k miles on the car. There is currently a class action lawsuit because of that sweet sweet EJ25. AND the company that imports Subaru's into Europe said 2019 is the last year they will offer the STI in Japan until Subaru builds them with a completely new drive train. STI also shows both cars without the wing. Next time you see an STI owner without the wing, make fun of him and say he's trying to make people think his car is a WRX because of the reliable FA20DIT! :) STI (the company link) www.sti.jp/parts/

Man that thing is DANK! They hate it ‘cause they ain’t it... I have a wing on my 2015, and wing stabilizers and the strafe under shark fins and the vortex diffuser and the rain guards and the mud flaps. I also have a Cobb Big Air SF Ram and a 93 Octane Stage 1+ tune, what a difference in performance. Real simple and cheap engine performance upgrade. Will be Stage 2+ when my 3” j pipe shows up!

Your designs thoughts put into this car reminded me of my dads evo, he put so much effort into it and also both of the outcomes of your design and my dads design are custom mainly with some after market parts he even added splitters on his wing like you did right there. I’m glad this gives me a good memory when I was in that 550 hp beast

Even though I got the STI it wasn't rally a necessity. I have a z06 in the garage. Usually an sti is peoples top car but its my backup. Z06 leagus better than both respctfully
