I feel very blessed that I grew up in Orange County instead of Los Angeles. LA is full of insane traffic, homeless drug addicts, and gangs. I’d actually rather drive 2 hours down to San Diego than endure 45 minutes of constant bumper-to-bumper to LA. I scream inside whenever my friends/family need a ride to/from the airport and they choose LAX over John Wayne Airport. When I saw Def Leppard in 2018, it was either see them in LA or San Diego… I chose San Diego. Yea the drive to LA is shorter but it sure doesn’t feel like it. My mom moved to Huntington Beach from the Downey area in 1991 and she never looked back.
I used to live in Hollywood it was the worst and jaded my experience of LA, once I moved to Costa Mesa everything changed and I fell In Love with California again. OC is definitely where it’s at!
That’s exciting! Where will you be moving from? As far as the commute here in OC, it’s really going to depend on where you’re located, where you’re commuting to, and at what times of the day/week. I feel like OC is less cramped and with more parking. LA has these weird routes. Like getting from lax to West Hollywood takes forever. If you don’t care about running around and trying to find celebrities , OC is great
