I grew up early part of my childhood in NC til I was 9 and we moved to Alabama. NC is one the best places to live in the country and possibly the world. Beautiful beaches and SMOKEY MOUNTAINS. Very warm fond memories of Boone, Cherokee, Asheville and all the other lil towns in the NC mountains when I was a child. Looking forward my 16 yr old son and I going on a father son bonding trip to Cherokee next week while my wife goes to gulf shores Al.
