Robot known as pepper, Would be great for seniors and disabled people. Worth looking into, I still say it would be a better idea if it was to look like, C3PO

No prices mentioned in this video. Alpha 1 is $450 at Walmart! Not sure about the Alpha 2. Can't find it on the internet. The NAO robot is $10,500 and finally, Pepper robot is $14,800.

I'm 55 & it's always been my dream to have a real robot like asimo before I die... getting closer but probably won't happen as I still dream about having one of the older aibos & even a cosmo is still kinda expensive :o(

I just realized something. I wonder if Cozmo was inspired by a character from WALL-E because the name of the robot character is MO and they both sound similar and both have a similar arm. Maybe I'm just going crazy.

Anki ( who made cozmo) made another robot named Vector and he looks like exactly the same, he has her own personality and all the same features cozmo has and it cost only about 120 dollars. I just bough one and i realllyyy recommend, i mean like for real

NO it’s not a dog it’s a robot that looks like a dog. You need something to communicate with because people don’t know how to have REAL communication with real humans.

You should do a new video. Vector is the newer version of cozmo and is much smarter. Just ordered one myself.

Cozmo is adorable.

They are building these in Singapore to lower the cost of the Alpha 1 and 2. The main thing is the waiting time. It takes 7-15 business days to build and add another 7-20 days to receive.

Just came from seeing Terminator: Dark Fate. The ones creating all this tech, robotics and AI obviously didn't watch the Terminator movies and aren't aware of what happens to humans as a result, or....maybe....they are.

Has anyone taken any of these robots and customized them with paint and parts to look more dystopian and less cutesy? I would love to see either the UBTECH Alpha 2 or the NAO Next GEN robot look battle worn with an entirely different look. Are there any customizers who do this sort of thing?

Not sure it's the best idea to be manufacturing artificial dogs when the shelters are so full of real dogs with real feelings and needs, and no one to take them in. But, maybe as a plaything for someone's real dog, CHIP could be useful. (Meanwhile...I want a giant ant robot. Maybe the size of a Lab or german shepherd.)

что такое человеческий разум ,сознание ,душа..........почему считается что это не воплотить в машине? у человека к примеру если пойти от обратного все тоже самое что и у робота.... что такое сознание .... каждый сам на себе может проверить..... отключить зрение , что мы чувствуем ?! правильно слух ....отключаем и слух , что остается ? остаются двигательные рефлексы и опыт их использования , отключаем тоже нахрен , далее находимся в черном вакууме( голодные кишки и зудящий прыщ на жопе отключаем по умолчанию) где у нас остается только что? осязание, обоняние , тактильные рецепторы , внутреннее ухо( система позиционирования) отключаем все тоже ...... но мы еще существуем . что еще можно выключить? а выключим мы пожалуй всю память что приобрели с момента рождения .....что осталось в черном вакууме где и сравнить нечего и не с чем? мы еще не мертвы полностью , что осталось?! да простенькая программа проводник так сказать пустая командная строка с мигающим курсором.....которой по сути и делать больше нечего....( наверное это и есть душа?!) выключаем............................................. систем множество , весь список приводить долго ..... но ни одна система не отвечает и не является по сути разумом это всего лишь рефлексы и приобретенный опыт...... так что возможно все ........ жалко что сейчас ходячую табуретку называют разумом ... или коллаборативную фильтрацию ..... это всего лишь маленькие кусочки и кто знает будут ли они объединены как в человеке.
