I think it’s awesome that you posted this literally the day after I was there. My list is exactly the same as yours. Tigris is fun, but the lap bars on Superman ultimate flight at SF discovery kingdom are better for me (nothing against comfort collars). Kumba was fun, but I didn’t really need more than one ride on it. Sheikra was indeed a short ride, but that first drop puts it above Kumba for me. Montu is amazing, especially in the back row. Way more snap than in the front, and I got rides in front and back. I just wish they ran more than one train. I rode Iron Gwazi five times in a row, having to get back in line each time (but that’s ok). I couldn’t get enough of it after the first ride. So much amazing ejector airtime on those hills. The death roll was a fun element. I did front, back, and a few in between. Cobra’s Curse was closed so I didn’t get on that, but I know it wouldn’t have made the top 5. I would’ve ridden Iron Gwazi more, but I couldn’t take any more g-forces after that. 😅
The reason for one of your queries is that Kumba is a sit down coaster but Scream is a Floorless. Then again: most B&M coasters are floorless, and most of them are coasters you sit down on too. That could be said for a B&M invert (which you sit in and is floorless) as much as it could be used for a B&M hyper (which you also sit in and is also floorless). Still having issues? take it to B&M: they'll answer all of your queries I'm sure.
If I had to guess, the pacing on Kumba I remember being much stronger than Medusa or Scream (although I did really enjoy Medusa at Great Adventure). I see where you're coming from with your layout argument though.
Those Premier trains are bad for tall people, then the discomfort collars are awful for those of us that are not tall. So everybody has something to dislike. Great job, Premier! Thank you Scream gets way so much BS hate. A lot of the people say Medusa is way better like dude their CLONES. Montu is my favorite invert but it and Gwazi are child’s play compared to Intimidator 305.
@@M-NL2 after going and having an amazing day, I have questions for you after riding every thing multiple times. 1. After riding apocalypse for the first time ever after ghost rider being my fav wooden coaster and hearing ppl loving apocalypse over ghost, I was very underwhelmed and upset. I sat in the back and was very confused as why it’s usually hours of a wait. It’s soooo rough and not very fun at all imo. Don’t even get me started on the queue line for that ride alone. (Or ALL the queue lines for ALL the rides. Besides Batman. 2. Do you think in the next 5,7 or 10 years they’ll replace revolution AND ninja. I can’t believe some of these rides have HOURS wait sometimes. I understand those specific rides are geared more towards family. That being said, if they’d want to keep family coasters do you think they’d create a brand new coaster layout or just retrack to make them more tolerable, faster and smoother? 3. What do you think six flags could do to make x2 better? I didn’t think the last time I rode it, it was that rough. But it was bad. I was hesitant going on it twice. And I loveeeeeeee that ride more than anything. It was bad. 3. Sunday the ride, baffled how ppl wait sometimes three hours for this. Absurd. They should 500% do a kingdaka vibe and just replace drop of doom to the front like da-ka. Sunday is like a kid ride. So boring and less than underwhelming. 4. With Goliath being closed when I went. I didn’t mind. The non steep drop makes it so boring etc. they NEED to build an Iron gwanzi type ride or something. Like do you think they have the capability to upgrade all of these upsetting old rides within the span of the next 8-10 years? But don’t get rid of viper. Just repaint and make it smoother.
2:33 Kumba has a better layout like a loop around the lift and unique one, while Scream is a boring mirror clone of Medusa and it’s like they were too lazy to come up with something original
Clones don't automatically equal a bad ride imo; Batman clones are great, so are RMC raptor clones, and Premier Spaghetti Bowls. A coaster doesn't have to be original to be a good ride
