If I may put this in perspective, in the world of pokemon, telling someone not to eat a slowpoke tail might be like telling us in this one to stop eating cows or chickens. I mean, take a good look at the pokemon universe and you can see examples of people eating pokemon, or eating sometihng a pokemon produces... Lilyboo Well that is the truth with alot of foods in our world, look at jerky, some of the best jerky I ever made not once faced searing heat and was as raw as a bought it, but I can eat it just fine without any problems. There are several dishes prepared and aten raw, eggs, hamburger, sausage, and sometimes some orgians from a veriaty of animals. Its no "rare" fact that food can be eaten if not cooked, you just need to know how to prepair it for safe comsumption.

Actually, you're dead wrong on number 1. They don't kill the slopoke because the tail grows back. In silver you come across slopokes that are missing their tails. Killing it would be counterproductive if you want to make a business selling slopoke tails to eat. You suck at researching. Anyone who's played the games knows this, why don't you? Also, you think magcargo is scary? look at gardevior. When its trainer is threatened it can create a black hole. Yea somewhere in the pokemon world there's a bunch of gardevoir-made black holes. let that sink in.

It was confirmed (or at least was shown)in the anime that they do eat pokemon, the example given was a chop up magicarp, (I saw it as a picture before). Either way it is natural for humans to eat animals, I don't really find it that creepy.

But I guess it could be different because the Slowpokes are wild, but still, they could become friends with someone. +sukhraj Kaur Sandhu I was also going to add that, even in the real world, getting one's tail chopped off is not the equivalent of death. A tail is not essential to survival - hence why we do not have tails, although we have tailBONES. My cat had to have his tail amputated when I was four years old, but he thrived until his death last year when I was 21.

Relic Castle is two derelict towers, in a desert wasteland, right next to Castelia City, which is based on New York, where a major national tragedy occurred involving two towers and lots of death.. The main problem I have with pokemon creepypasta is much of it mentions "Lavender Town Syndrome." The high frequencies in the Lavender Town music can only be heard by kids ages 7-12 or so. This music does not kill people directly (how could it?), but it actually can cause kids to commit suicide, usually from hanging. This creepypasta is not a lie, and I thought it was until I actually saw severe cases of what this music can actually do to your ears and your brain. Some of the mild cases involve headaches and general problems with ears, but major cases can cause severe violence in a kids mind, which can lead to suicide. This was fixed very, very early on, and searching "Lavender Town Creepy Music" on youtube is not the way to find the real music. This problem was fixed in mid 1996 or so, and the music that caused kids to commit suicide actually happened in very early 1996, mostly when they let kids test the beta version of the game. If you somehow played the game in Japanese in early 1996, if you are over the age of 12 you basically can't hear the frequencies that caused suicide, so it doesn't matter much at that age. Not all kids of that age got headaches or worse either, but 200 deaths is much more then huge natural disasters like the recent hurricanes in North America, which caused less then 30 deaths. This is one of the few creepy pastas that you can actually believe, and I doubt you could find the music in 2017.
They changed the music. It was because the original music had a high pitched sound in the music that only children and teens could hear. Pokémon quickly changed the music after multiple deaths
i heard in the worldwide version, they made it so the tone is different, but different enough that it seems to be the same music, but whenever i hear it, i freak out anyway

+Oscar Langdon-Streeter You are correct about the deaths being false. But there were a few individuals who got headaches. Think of it as the audio version of what happened with the Porygon episode only with migraines instead of seizures. Unlike the episode though they only had to alter the pitch of the music slightly and the problem seemed to be fixed. It basically worked out that way due to how much more sensitive young children's hearing can be normally compared to say a teenager or young adult. Like those devices shop owners buy sometimes that sound like mosquitoes to keep groups of young people from hanging around too long. I figure this is probably the case because I have this odd situation where I can just about still hear those devices despite being over the age that they are supposed to affect me. And if I listen too the Lavender town music (original version) myself for too long I still get a mild headache even now. Nothing huge though.
