@@gamingwithslacker It was a total rework starting centuries before the original game and even centuries before Alexander The map was moved to cover everything from calabria to north india and central asia, and you could birth the persian empire on it starting on it's very first city, If I remember well it was about 600 Before Christ

if ya wanna have the most awesome looking mod, to make by yourself go to descr model battle and replace the spartan skin with the Carthaginian holy hoplite-band skin ,,,the color settings of the game now will give you black armoured hoplites with orange stripes as Spartans,,, and once again if you wanna have fun in late game make large and epic wall only available to the senate (or slavs in BI) in BI you should remove the larger walls from the start of the game which is a bit harder ,but its not needed, your game will work either way, so only try removing exsting things on the map with xp in this stuff
Indeed - the modding community is amazing! I only recently started modding mine, and I am amazed by the vanilla enhancement mod so far. (Starting small, as to get a taste of)
The no fog mod also removes fog from rainy/snowy weather so dont be too scared if the dark clouds appear. There was also a mod that makes every single weather setting into midday/clear while also being multiplayer compatible. Fun fact: you can have the clear weather set to snowy or dust storm and it'll still work online wtf

I've been following you for a while. Good job Is there a way to mod the mobile version? Or get some of the mods you mentioned to the android? I would really love to be able to edit characters and family tree especially.
I still love the cut content music you use with your end cards. To me it’s more of an icon of your channel than your icon or even the fact you cover total war.
Unit card mod is awesome, but it should differentiate between units which can form phalanx and spearmen who can't. Also, really should have lighter color where manpower counter is. Black is not great contrast with many of those colors.
mmm good feedback though for me the factions are designed in a way there shouldn't be any problems with phalanx and spear units mixing up but yea the unit numbers kinda need some getting used to especially the red text when receiving casualties.
@@Dolfy Well experienced players tend to remember which units are which, but if you have not played for a while or just don't know/remember, Spear warband are easy to confuse as spearmen. I have often also forgotten which has phalanx ability, Libyan Spearmen or Poeni infantry.
@@TheRomanRuler That's true though back then I couldn't decide what other colour to give them without mixing up with others so I grouped them all under spearmen. I guess this is a consequence of a mod that's focused solely for multiplayer people heh.
While I like not having arrow trails in these earlier titles, I could see some practical benefits of them, just giving you as the commander more info on when volleys are going out while not having to be focused purely on the archers.
That arrow trail is nice to know , now ican see where my arrow land even when i use d3d9.dll Still catapult projectile is invisible is there any mod for catapult trail?
Catapults and ballistae/scorpion projectiles are untouched since they're practically unused in multiplayer. Not sure if there's a way to make them have those same ribbon trails that look distinct from arrows
