Dude, no one should ever tell you that “you suck at skiing”. I’ve skied Philippes with way more snow and it’s crazy steep. The last two runs were almost unskiable and awesome.
It’s crazy to me how I remember each one of these runs so clearly! I damn near could have called a few of these specific runs being the best of the year. So cool! Can’t wait for this season to ramp up now
So awesome to see you got pinball taking the crown! Hoping to work up to that level of terrain this season at Crystal. I do think the name of that peak is Silver King but most of the time we just call it the King. Stoked for this season and to keep watching your content man!
I had a feeling Pinball was gonna be number 1. I remember watching that video when it dropped, I was just in awe of the terrain and the amazing shot of Mt Rainier. I got to see her earlier this summer, such a beautiful creation. Great video man
just saying, the idea that people would say you suck at skiing is kinda crazy to me. I have done pinball before and I basically just sidestepped the first bit of it and went down the rest very very cautiously, you are a very good skier and I think it is more indicative of a disconnect between the real world and professionals. most people that are being watched are on the world tour or that level and people saying that just cause someone can't do that kind of stuff but can still ski incredibly challenging lines with confidence is terrible is stupid. keep up the good work!
hey man thanks for taking time to write this. i think you're spot on with what you're saying. there is always someone better than you and always someone that you are better than. i never understood tearing someone down because they arent at your skill level. no one is born being a pro skier and if someone is that good, often they should be grateful and supportive of others in the industry. it is what it is and comes with the job here on youtube - so its nice to hear some reinforcement from another shredder like yourself. thank you and maybe ill see you at the top of crystal this year.
Looking forward to your vids in the upcoming season. You certainly helped motivate a small ski bum trip with my daughters this season. We'll be taking a 5 day trip in Vermont this Dec including a little lot poaching!!! Keep em coming when you can!
so fucking hyped now. hoping utah early season is like last year. Btw you shouldn't really be jumping like that when doing 'jump' turns. Try keep the front of the ski always in contact with the snow, then you will land much more smoothly and fall less distance. How I was taught: Plant your pole centred between the back of your ski and heel of your boot, then simply flex your ski boots (don't jump)
Man thank you for all the uploads, such high quality videos you'd think it was coming from a channel with hundreds of thousands of subscribers, will be you some day! Snow season was pretty awful here in Australia and didn't end up doing anything, but, your videos always great to watch and keep the hype up. Thank you!

So stoked to see my mountain as #1. Pinball off Silver king at crystal is one of the best chutes on the entire mountain. Come back and Try out Brain Damage! It’s a bit more open but honestly more fun from start to finish.

Awesome content tks Video idea how about the process of booth fitting may help someone out there. I went today and was impressed and happy to be properly fitted to a set of ski boots. Cant wait to go test them out :)
