Hello thank you so much for this. I am a African American woman looking to opening a restaurant. But have not "started " is there any grants for this? For the Start ups? I am having a rough time figuring this out
I’ll have two different playlists that might have information. One is for African-American business owners and students; another is for women business owners.
My business is very small, mobile knife sharpening. I am looking to expand to Beautician Shears. But some major machine upgrade and training is needed. I don't know what grant would give me any grants for a business like this. Or if there is a better grant system to use. I hope I don't miss your reply to this question.
I found scholarships for machine shop assistants and barber school, but not for sharpening. But there is a RU-vid channel dedicated to sharpening shears. I wonder if they have information. www.youtube.com/@BonikaShears
Hi - that could be a good combination of environmental and agriculture interests in an innovation grant. I describe U.S. government grants and how to find them in this video, and please feel free to ask additional questions: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-CzyVmbQNfN8.html
I three grants! The biggest problem. I’m always told “ You don’t have to pay anything!” “ No upfront money to be paid!” All of it is a lie! I wish people can be upfront, transparent and honest about this! At least I would be better prepared. That should be an epososde with this lady and other content providers and podcasters!
I try to cover as much of the country as possible, since we're looking for grants everywhere! Thanks so much for the kind invitation, but I'm not in Madison.
Good question. I featured an online grant search site (ladieswholaunch.org) in my most recent video on grants for women business owners. I just checked the website, and it's also for anyone. Free to use, and might take a while, but if you search by the Population Served column, you might find some options.
Start local in your connections; late in this video I talk about small business development agencies. Also with construction-related professional organizations, to network and get business referred to you.
REALLY 😢 COULD YOU MAKE THIS ANY MORE CONFUSING THAN IT ALREADY IS ATE ALL THESE SIDELINE PEOPLE ON THE GRANT PAGES PAYING THIS LADY TO CONFUSE US EVEN MORE
At this time I don't, I'm sorry to say. I'm looking into a way to do that, but that will take a while (I work full time outside of making videos for the channel). Thank you so much for asking!
Good afternoon, it’s very interesting to listen to you. Please tell me which website can I look at about the machine business, we putty, paint and polish cars, restore them to factory appearance after accidents. We flew from Ukraine, we are starting everything from scratch.
Thank you very much. I don't have a specific grant for your type of business, but from what I've learned, there are local resources that can provide some kinds of assistance (usually training, networking, and sometimes grants). Find your local economic development agency by using this directory: www.eda.gov/economic-development-directory Or you could also get free mentoring, maybe even from someone who has run a business like yours, at score.org.
Thank you very much for information. Please I need Educational grant or fully funded scholarship to study at Biola University, US for 2024 Fall Semester. Olushola from Nigeria.
I did a quick google search, and it looks like most scholarships are tied to specific schools. Hopefully Biola can provide the help you need; they should have a list of scholarships available.
The funds will help businesses get ready to export products. Use the link in the description below the video to get details. Your state applies for STEP funds, and then you would apply to the state agency. SBA's STEP website has a directory of those offices as well.
@@grantchatter so it has to be for businesses who already do or plan to export products, right? The business I'm seeking grants for does not currently and may never export products, so STEP would not be a good fit, right?
I am really enjoying your videos. I have a slight earring problem and you speak so clearly and with tons of detail. Plus none of that terrible background music that so many YTbers use. But I wanted to ask you a question. Do you have a course or program you offer where you would help me with maybe a grant that I would apply for? Do you do the research as well? I am totally new to grant research and writing. Thank you for your time and extremely detailed videos!!! I can't stop watching them! I have subscribed with all notifications!
Thank you so much! I don't yet have a grant writing course or product. The most recent video on writing your first grant is here, ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-inH9y6UB0b4.html I also have a playlist of how to write grants, ru-vid.com/group/PLqcBLkKVDijRqQk6MVocbCTfq4Gu8K9Xo I hope they can help!
Good question. I ran an extensive google search ("grants for startups in Yemen"), and the results were mostly about alleviating hunger or diplomatic programs. So nothing really stood out as an obvious result. I wonder if you could conduct a search like that, and maybe you would have better results than my US-based search?
Oh my, that number is in the millions in the U.S., and the tens of millions across the globe. That's why grant funders are very particular about the purpose and the location of where grant applications come from.
Thanks for the question! My first thought is a business development program from a national garden retailers association (or its state/regional chapters). Maybe the major brands you sell have a similar program. Otherwise, locally, networking with business development groups might result in an opportunity. If you are a woman-owned business, see if your local Small Business Development Center or state workforce development agency has something.
